  1. Do you feel special? Wanna cookie? But it's all good. Atleast we all realize it.
  2. You don't know about Bartman? He was the guy that many say ended the Cubs season(I still say it was Alex Gonzalez, but it is debateable). Cubs enemy, Sox savior. God bless him
  3. Well said. I'd love to see Jose at SS for the Sox next year on opening day, personally. In fact, I would not mind seeing Jose end his playing-career as a member of the White Sox, and if he started his coaching career(say as a 3B coach) as a member of the White Sox staff, I would like that too.
  4. I could have told you that 2 weeks ago. But atleast we agree.
  5. Yeah I know. This f***ing sucks. Send Ramon Ortiz to the minors, until we play them.
  6. He already is on a sucky NL team. Well, atleast I think last place is sucky.
  7. Ah, I do recall that game. Bonds took our asses deep in all.3.games. The worst memory about that game is that Marte gave up a grand slam to Aurilia, no?
  8. That just goes to show how f***ing fast he turns his hips. Barry Bonds is one player I want to see play before he retires, especially when he is at the top of his game like this. He is flat out incredible.
  9. I just relived it. I remember Lee's hit well. Not how he hit it, not where he hit it, but how I felt when he got that hit. It was like having to take a huge piss, and then actually getting the job done. I wanted to cry.
  10. It's hard to give up on a talent like Willie Harris. But we CANNOT have a sub-.300 OBP guy leading off for us, especially when we have a guy who is hitting .385 or so and is still fast as hell, until the all-star break. Harris will be kept on the team, but will be used as a backup MI/OF. If he can figure it out, good for him. If not, see ya later. If he isn't doing s*** and we're in mid-May, HE GAWN(well, HE GAWN to the bench)
  11. Yep. They know their s***. Ever hear a cow talk about baseball on the radio?
  12. I believe they put him on waivers, Tampa claimed him, and then didn't offer him a contract this offseason, so he was let loose. Milwaukee then signed him.
  13. Hey let me in on this... Jay Mariotti = a steer They are both full of bulls***
  14. Exactly. Regardless of roids or no roids...he has put up some insane numbers thus far.
  15. Which is the worse topic... "Damon spelled backwards is 'Nomad' " or "Cito Gaston Jr.!" ?
  16. .300, .350 - what's the difference? "Don't let me down"...coincidence? I think not.
  17. Twinkies start a series with the Angels tonight, so they actually have to face a GOOD offense while having to battle back in the late innings against a GOOD bullpen. We'll see how they do. They win 2 of 3 or sweep the Angels, the Sox should start to worry a little more about them.
  18. I am clueless regarding the Ship-Jose-out banter. Not only is he a decent fielding SS(do not let the errors fool you...errors are not good, but they are not as bad as many people think), but he is our ONLY source of LH power in the lineup. I know he hits .240-.250...big damn deal. Where else are we going to get 25-30 homers from the LH side of the plate? Jose can run the bases like no other. His instincts on the bases are second to no one on the Sox IMO. Give me Uribe-Valentin at 2B and SS respectively, with Harris on the bench and Dransfeldt busting his ass in AAA, or give me something better.
  19. Atta kid I never got my name in an article like that, but Ken Rosenthal did answer a question I asked him once. That was awesome
  20. I am quite sure you are correct. I predicted that he could have like a .300 50 150 1.100 season before the season started, and Frank has done nothing but try and help my "could-be" prediction this month.
  21. Poor guy. This would be a great time for a punchline, but I can't do it to Lief. Seems like too nice a guy.
  22. Yes we do. And the Twins will agree with me. The Twins should have been swept, and instead won the series. The only game the Blue Jays bullpen didn't appear was a 2-hitter by Ted Lilly.
  23. I saw that too. I'm trying to figure out what issues he's talking about. Starting has been solid, relief has been fine, no problems with defense, offense has kicked some ass, Oz and the coaches are fine, management hasn't done anything dumb....WHAT ISSUES JAY? :dips***
