Well it looks like its academic, since we brought in a scrub to face Cabrera and Fielder. Valverde sucks in my opinion and is very hittable but it won't matter now that we're going to be down a big number it appears

I don't think that was a huge run since Verlander is most likely going to shut us down the next two innings anyway. However, I understand the frustration.

I'm also surprised at all of the people willing to deal Dayan. We're talking about a 22-23 yr old kid here who may hit 30 HR's this year. It's not like our system is overflowing with guys like this.

Forgotten in all of this is the job Manto has done. Whether or not it is actually him, there is no doubt we're seeing a great turnaround from just about everyone in our lineup from a hitting standpoint. I have to credit him at least partially for getting our talented players back to where they should be.
