  1. Myers is hurt. Welcome to Chicago. Mazara has replaced him but they're also looking for another OF bat down the stretch. Merrifield is anti-vax...unless he's on a contender and has to play meaningful games. Toast. Those options pretty much suck. Laureano would be the choice there with Blackmon too expensive.
  2. Need a LH reliever more desperately...with Bummer out indefinitely.
  3. D.Peralta Pederson Kole Calhoun Grossman Inciarte (only 32, seems 42) Ben Gamel Guillermo Heredia
  4. Then Happ is it of the big names because no Benintendi and Orioles/M's not selling anymore. Has to be a Naquin under the radar type.
  5. Ray has been closer to Cy form, Gilbert awesome, Rodriguez raking in Acuna-esque form and no Kelenic. Very strong defense across the board.
  6. The reality is not counting on Jimenez for anything is a much more realistic plan. And he has over 100 games of experience in RF in the minors. Actually his arm isn't much worse than Pollock's, comparable. Probably covers about the same amount of ground once he gets a full head of steam.
  7. Locking up Lynn until his weight is back down below 250 pounds...shaving off his Stonewall Jackson beard might help. Or Just for Men.
  8. Trading Sheets plus any pitcher not named Vera for Josh Bell to DH and then playing Vaughn in LF with Jimenez/Engel in RF depending on matchups. Desperately trying to unload Pollock and cash to an NL West team...
  9. You're familiar with the concept of sarcasm? I was making fun of my own proclivity for attendance threads. And the White Sox had been NOWHERE close to 13th in MLB attendance since the 2008-2010 teams. For one day at least, we could actually claim to be in the upper half. But thanks for the stalking anyway.
  10. RS/RA would be down to -15 if the current score holds up. Almost -13 if not for that Celestino grab. Two games in the loss column behind both Guardians and Twins.
  11. Sheets and Pollock are weak spots right now. And Vaughn is only under control for four more years afaik because of when they started his GP clock. https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/chicago-white-sox/andrew-vaughn-30401/

  13. Give Kopech all that extra time off. Until at least the Tuesday after the break. Then picks up an extra day of rest Thursday as well. Of course that means more Lance Lynn.
  14. Hardly the manager of the year. Besides Jimenez and Robert are completely unavailable. Leaving just McGuire and Rotten Pollock.
  15. Well, that's something quite unique for the columbarium. But your legacy is irrational Abreu hate lol.
  16. Now the weak point is Sheets and Pollock with nearly identical OPS numbers...
  17. Everything's coming up roses. We can live with 4-6 against the Twins for now.
