  1. He brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm. That said don't think the bat's close to ready yet. Certainly not the protypical LF st GRF.
  2. Pierre was much better in CF. But that arm. Scotty Pods like. You're also forgetting Dayan and Josh Fields. Ron LeFlore. Lonnie Smith and some Rangers like Kevin Reimer and Incaviglia were the worst I can personally remember at that spot.
  3. Still don't see Ant-Man as that huge impact franchise player where service time manipulation is a massive issue.
  4. https://www.mlb.com/gameday/twins-vs-royals/2026/04/02/824133/final/wrap Watched a lot of Taj Bradley throwing 97-100 his first two games out. Great pick up by Twins. With Ryan (for now) and Ober, they are just head and shoulders ahead of the Sox. Same with young CLE pitching and obviously DET until Skubal departs.
  5. Tanking controversy has been story of season. Then you also had the point shaving investigation with Billups etc. I honestly haven't watched many full NBA games since Jordan left the Bulls...maybe the Mavericks/Cavaliers finals. But that coming draft class is pretty much insane. A lot of instant impact. The weird thing here is that foreign players in mlb are much more compelling (at least to me) to watch compared to the NBA. Except for unicorn Wemby...but that Jokic style is just such an acquired taste. Maybe the collapse of the Warriors' dynasty as well. Fans complain about parity but love super teams like GS, Chiefs, Dodgers etc. I guess the final part is University of Iowa just not producing many NBA players. Just Keegan Murray and now Stirtz. https://sports.yahoo.com/nba/article/must-see-tv-the-alarming-data-behind-the-nbas-star-outage-for-national-games-191047923.html
  6. San Diego Padres On SIPadres Could Sell for $3.5 Billion; MLB Insider Explains WhyThe San Diego Padres could sell for $3.5 billion this year. An MLB insider explains why.
  7. Not the year with McGonigle Griffin Wetherholt DeLauter Mune.
  8. For who, Hill? Acuna? Finally eating Benintendi deal? Doesn't make sense unless there's a route to regular playing time. Seems like a bit of desperation with how little time he's had in LF. Sosa is doomed.
  9. https://www.espn.com/mlb/attendance Brutal numbers from Miami Baltimore and KC so far. 2025 and those early post season exits must have broken a lot of O's fans.
  10. Like misspelling his locker room name plate as Munetaki?
  11. https://www.fangraphs.com/standings/playoff-odds/fg/lg While Sox down to 0.5% playoff odds. Nationals 0.8%, Rockies 0.0% and Angels at 3.6% the ONLY MLB teams below at least 10% or higher.

  13. Without an extension announcement?
  14. 29. Chicago White SoxRecord: 1-5 Preseason ranking: 28 Since it's too early to panic about anything in particular, even something as alarming as the horror show early numbers of the White Sox pitching staff, let's instead zero in on something happy: the proof of concept that has marked the first few games of Munetaka Murakami's debut. Murakami homered in his first three MLB games, displaying the historic power stroke he flashed in Japan. He added a good dose of walks as well, boosting his early OBP. It's an encouraging start for the target of Chicago's surprise hot stove splurge. We still have to see how Murakami handles the adjustments pitchers will surely make against him, but he has shown so far that the power is real. -- Doolittle espn.com
  15. In recent years, the term "Samurai" has been appropriated by certain groups, particularly in online communities, to refer to individuals who exhibit toxic masculinity and a disregard for the feelings and well-being of others. This usage of the term is highly offensive and disrespectful to the true meaning of the word. In conclusion, while the term "Samurai" has a rich history and cultural significance in Japan, its modern usage as slang can be problematic and offensive. It is important to understand the context in which it is being used and to avoid using it in a way that perpetuates harmful stereotypes or promotes toxic behavior. https://www.fastslang.com/samurai
  16. Dylan will be there Friday for Opening Day to rub a little salt in the wound against Sean Burke at 110 pm. Add Rodon, Bassitt and Giolito...you get a pretty decent rotation. P.Pallette even has a 2.45 era with 1 ER in 3 2/3. Paez ERA...don't even bother to look.
  17. It’s almost scarier that he’s doing his absolute best and this is still the result. sometimes with Hahn’s free agency decisions…doing the exact opposite of whatever his impulse were would have led to roughly 75% success instead of the opposite 25%
  18. Not to mention Stone's obviously growing indifference/apathy. The combination is lethal.
  19. Ohtani on base 37 consecutive games but top four in LAD lineup really scuffling.
  20. https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fr9fykbewtgwc1.jpeg Dodgers just acquired Jake Eder. Haha. 10:37am: The Dodgers are set to acquire left-hander Jake Eder from the Nationals, according to Spencer Nusbaum and Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. Eder was designated for assignment this past weekend when Washington acquired infielder Curtis Mead from the White Sox
  21. https://www.si.com/mlb/whitesox/onsi/news/run-differential-white-sox-after-second-straight-series-loss-1 To be honest, the fact that the team's home opener was pushed back a day could be for the better. Fans may already need a break from this squad. Btw nice use of "disasterclass" here.
  22. Looks like CLE is going to take 2/3 @ Chavez Ravine. 4-0 Tanner Scott terrible again 11 homers allowed three years prior to 2025 11 last year alone most with two strikes Jose Ramirez tonight
  23. Bergolla continues to impress.
