spotrac.comSandy Alcantara | MLB Contracts & Salaries | Spotrac.comSandy Alcantara signed a 5 year, $56,000,000 contract with the Miami Marlins with an average annual salary of $11,200,000.$17 million contract is quite reasonable if he pitches like he's demonstrated (that he was capable of) in the recent past...becomes one of the biggest trade deadline targets.

Can't think of another legit mlb franchise that wouldn't simply cut Benintendi and put Sosa or pretty much anyone else in LF. Even if they had to eat all but $5-10 million of the remaining $$$. Even the Brewers can easily afford deals for Chourio and never before played minor league prospects in that financial range.

Except you get a Skenes once every five years in the draft at best. Skubal, Crochet as well…that’s quite unusual to have that cluster.

Sox at Fish #2, 5:40 CDT 3/31
All depends on his routes. See Baldwin. Maybe the throwing arm doesn't translate as well as for Tatis and Merrill, for example.
