  1. You must mean 13-16, since they are 27-30 now...
  2. https://sports.yahoo.com/3-thoughts-chicago-cubs-including-110000430.html
  3. If you look closely, he has been hitting much closer to the front of the batter's box recently...making it harder to wait until the last millisecond to make the decision to swing or not. Which means he has to commit even earlier regardless of the pitch, leading to more balls pulled or hit off the end of the bat as he loads up.
  4. Combination of Hahn, injuries (especially Kelly) and LaRussa sometimes either being stubborn or trying to point out to everyone the lack of viable options on the roster. And all these weird lack of bullpen availability issues that are left unexplained.
  5. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/tim-anderson-opens-mlb-black-193839276.html This is going to be somewhat polarizing...one of the longest interviews with TA7 in quite some time, other than the recorded YouTube series. The interviewer made no attempt to clean up any of the grammar whatsoever. Some will say that's being genuine and authentic and keeping it real, others might disagree. Then there's the whole DQ thing...so guess I need to buy some more Berkshire Hathaway B shares haha.
  6. To [email protected]@chisox.com Cc [email protected]@chisox.com Jun 12 at 10:42 AM “Fire Tony!” chants from the Comiskey Cellular Rate stands? They’re not wrong, and that negativity, embarrassment and loss are all your fault. Remember this song? Michael Jackson - Man In The Mirror (Official Video)

  8. Kimbrel simply imploding in SF. Came into game trailing 2-1. In first game over a span of nine days. L. Gonzalez still at .315, 21 RBI’s.
  9. That’s all on Hahn. And he has been a much better fWAR/$$$ allocated player than the likes of Rodon, Keuchel and Jimenez for his Sox career…at least until 2022.
  10. In the end, they will try trading for someone (the dreaded veteran) first before waving the white flag.
  11. Won’t Tony the Moderator get a bit of a complex hearing this constant refrain for the remainder of the season? Or you can’t actually be fired by SoxTalk? And, most importantly, what should we chant if we want to replace him in order to differentiate?
  12. Should add Hendriks to the stand up to racism/Donaldson line. And even TLR.
  13. Shows that the idea of promoting guys like Perez, Sanchez or Sosa is just not going to happen…
  14. And Riley Greene has been out this whole time as well…fwiw, Skubal has been their best pitcher by far, albeit getting little to no run support.
  15. Chicagoland needs a "Fire Up A Tony's Pizza" Promotion to run concurrently...
  16. Then we would lose Contreras to FA and not have a 1B the next five years. Cubs don't have any compelling desire to add Sheets.
  17. Or Keuchel...or unfortunate timing of first Crochet injury exposed bullpen.

  19. We expect, no, demand, 2nd.
  20. I thought this was going for throw live toaster into bathtub…
  21. And three behind the Guardians running at 50% of Sox payroll.
  22. Reds’ fans did that targeting ownership this spring…pooled money together for at least two highly visible billboards.
