Fell asleep to miss Anderson's defensive misplay after the comeback and immediately wentto box score. Why, especially after yesterday, was Kelly in to close the game when Graveman has been getting most of the opportunities after Reynaldo blew his shot at the job? Baffling. Just not particularly surprising.

They have to choose either Zavala or Perez and then go out and sign an Austin Hedges type just to hold the pitching staff together next year.

Cease Anderson Eloy Benintendi and Hendriks have lost about $250-300 million in value/surplus value in the last 6 months.

Shades of Craig Monroe vs. Aardsma lol.

That felt pretty much inevitable. Quite the statement the Sox have made here in must win series. Baddoo their Billy Hamilton in terms of bringing energy to team....killed the Sox this weekend. First time Cease has ever given up 4 walks or 4 runs to Detroit in 14 career starts.

Sitting dead red.

74 pitches.

Looks like a carbon copy repeat of last inning...

Lenyn Sosa. Andrus. Zavala. Leury last year. From an opposition standpoint.

Heading towards worst percentage of throwing out opposing runners...

Can just see Harrelson saying Dylan's battling his butt off out there. So far, at least. Still going to expose bullpen yet again.

61 pitches 6 outs

About to give it all right back.

With a .588 ops now lol. XB hits at least in recent days.

Yency Almonte pitching for Dodgers against Rays down 1 in the 9th. 7.15 era but retired first 2... now 1-2-3 inning ends with a K. Seems every Sox former pitcher ending up with Yankees Rays Dodgers lol. "Prior to the 2015 season, Almonte was acquired by the Chicago White Sox as the player to be named later from an earlier trade for Gordon Beckham.[2] He pitched that season with the Kannapolis Intimidators and Winston-Salem Dash where he posted a combined 11–7 record and 3.41 ERA in 24 games (22 starts)."

Way too many pitches. Nothing new with Dylan... but he has to give them at least six innings.

Dodgers Rays today 11-10 and already 21 hits over 95+ mph with two innings to go...more offense than the entire weekend series in DET. Looked up and Sox offense out in a matter of seconds lol.

This pretty much encapsulates everything wrong with this organization right now. Sure, it was 50% joking around...but if he wasn't constantly getting hurt it wouldn't be an issue in the first place.

Must have the lowest success rate in the majors advacing runners to third with zero or one outs...

This is one of the very FEW record breakdowns that even has historically abysmal KC over the Sox due largely to the 2013-2016 time period.

One of the great mysteries is what happened to the team down the stretch from 2012 into 2013. A team that plated much better defense in 2012 suddenly just fell apart, more or less. Eventually they would add Abreu, who was just a monster back then... but too little too late to turn things back around. Feels like none of their top prospects like Beckham Viciedo and Avisail from back then really lived up to their promise... and Anderson was such a raw prospect when he hit the big leagues as well.

Statistically you would think three run homers are much more likely to win a pitcher's matchup than strunging together 2-3 hits. Almost showing Rodriguez too much respect. Scholtens game felt like a loss before game even started, no Robert inserted for defense late yesterday and now this stranger things lineup.

Even Mendick has been a loss.

Celtics on the verge of saving the NBA Finals from a tv ratings standpoint. Didn't think they had it in them down like that.

Yes, I meant after he was moved to third and hasn't been moved since... as his defense at second was borderline terrible.
