Why would any sane person continue watching? For the last two years, we've heard how often how our brilliant front office almost acquired Burnes...who just happens to be the best pitcher in baseball with deGrom out. Heck, we could have had another Top Ten guy in Rodon...who was our own product. Hahn simply sucks compared to the Indians' and Brewers' front offices.

Even the Bumgarner deal suddenly looks quite inviting for a contender. Keuchel was pretty much the last big name out there after many months and Hahn still bit down on the bait. Caveat emptor.

Adding insult to injury, Burnes and Woodruff lights out these last two days...otoh, Wheeler suddenly looks terrible again and was hurting in the preseason. Woodruff with a no no against Pirates right now, pretty decent odds except pitch count early in the season.

Ramirez is going to take up motorcycle jumps and playing soccer in the outfield? Eating himself out of the game?

Well, considering all the millions at stake ... there should be more professionalism on both sides. But leave it to the White Sox to finally rid themselves of Kimbrel and another uncomfortable personnel situation arises to quickly take his place.

Leury being in the lineup on a daily basis? White Sox have the best record in the AL but would be tied for third in the NL West behind the Rockies (what?) and the Dodgers…with the Giants and Padres. Mets are off to a strong start…especially considering no deGrom.
