  1. At least Cueto was clowning with Vladimir (sense of humor is only way to survive this year) then lost a bit of focus to Teoscar. Game set match.
  2. Top 3-5 Cy Young candidate. Smart to let Ray go and replace with Gausman but now Ryu is on shelf. They could use definitely use Giolito to go with Berrios.
  3. Guardians could do it. Wheels came off in SD completely from +18 to -4 in six weeks and they bounced back relatively quickly. It can be done. Twins obviously.
  4. Manoah and Cueto with 1968 Eras. Trying to get to 12 consecutive starts with 0-2 runs surrendered.
  5. He's like Don Quixote in his own private battle out there, trying to ignore or block out the defense around him.
  6. Does anyone have a better idea? How can Hahn trade him? Then again he bought James Shields off one of the most terrible starts ever so just needs to be another Hahn out there who believes that Moncada is just waiting to blossom in the right environment.
  7. Sigh. Can we please have two real corner outfielders? A real 2B who's not Jimmy Rollins 2016?
  8. Mired in mediocrity indeed. And the Twins are falling back finally with all their injuries. They get torched by the Jays next in TOR. Which means the torture drags on.
  9. They have another? Already traded Ruiz to Wash. Montas Castillo Giolito would be best available if they go that route.
  10. Romy or Yolbert was always just going to be a temporary band aid to staunch the bleeding.
  11. You have to sit Yoan down and tell him if you really want out you need to go on an offensive tear or you're stuck in Chicago.
  12. Has to be Menechino. Or Harrison DFAed. But Anderson's out so.. Carlos Perez. Yolbert. No easy answers.
  13. Bichette putting on a clinic this series. 13 consecutive retired. Could feel it coming after the first inning evaporated.
  14. Pollock must be desperate to be traded back to NL West. Wondering how he could be on the bench for THAT guy?
  15. Jerry Seinfeld/strong>: Your back hurts because of your wallet. It’s huge. George Costanza: This isn’t just my wallet. It’s an organizer, a memory and an old friend. Jerry Seinfeld: Well, your friend is morbidly obese. George Costanza: Well, at least I don’t carry a purse. Jerry Seinfeld: It’s not a purse, it’s European
  16. Cueto at a crisp 1.99 ERA due to the unearned run.
  17. 2003-04, 2006...2012. You might be right. 2008 was the most recent fun despite flawed team due to final weeks. 2020 last two weeks sucked. 2006 and this season the highest expectations surely.
  18. Seems like the worst of Ventura years when they couldn't quite lose quite enough to get change. Did Vaughn misplay that one?
  19. Larry David would have had that one...underrated gamer.
  20. Cueto with nearly a career high GB %. 55% and rising that inning.
