3/28 | Padres vs White Sox | 3:05PM CT | ESPN1000
Almost got out of it...recorded first two outs with bases loaded and then touched up by Alfaro for a bases clearing double. Jimenez and Alfaro clearly the hottest hitters for both organizations...along with TA7.

They will go with Kim and Cronenworth unless Kim continues to hit .175 while playing GG defense at SS...

Ummm....Grisham, Myers and Abrams could easily be the starters. Profar as supersub. Trayce Thompson has been starting recently. Roster filler. Same with Mazara. Jorge Alfaro continues monster spring fighting with Caratini for #2 job. Out of options like Adolfo. Will likely carry 3 guys the first month.

How to Contact the White Sox Execs/Sponsors and Demand TLR’s Termination
Going after Hahn is pointless since it’s patently obvious Reinsdorf and LaRussa really run this team and Hahn is essentially the preferred PR spokesperson in this awkward situation. Of course, other than rooting for ownership change before this current window closes…

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
Deep down, the front office has to be well aware of this fact, just like any casual fans who tuned in for the postseason only to wonder what was going on in RF...that's even more insulting. It's not like LaRussa's unique team-building approach worked wonders in AZ. He and Stewart drove that organization practically into the ground.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
You can make this comment without managing to insult your own fans with something that was painfully obvious since Vaughn and Sheets tried to play RF last year...and Leury as well. That's called wanting to improve your team/defense and safeguard their health. How is that not the logical position for any fan to take, regardless of team payroll?

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
Just don't have any clue how to execute "put your team over the top" finishing moves to build a true championship contender. Risk-averse. Unless it has something to do with relief pitchers or veteran utility guys.

Vaughn has a hip pointer injury, out 1-2 weeks
This inherent stubbornness and/or lack of willingness to learn from close calls is going to be the death of this organization. Next time it will be one of these lumbering OFers crashing into Robert, unfortunately. They just seem to want to tempt fate.

It’s three games.

What happened to Anderson? Adolfo on OD, regardless of handedness? Mendick even on the roster? Wouldn’t they take Romy?

“Don’t you ever f——g talk about my RFer and 2B! I don’t want to hear those words coming out of your mouth. And GI Jane was a seriously underrated film.”

If Vaughn is out for months and months and we have to watch 550-575 Leury at-bats....

Andrew Vaughn hurts hip pointer, out 1-2 weeks per White Sox
Think I would place CF to the right of 2B…and catcher’s a whole difference monster. Craig Biggio is one of the few that went from catcher to infield, Brandon Inge also comes to mind. Can hardly remember anyone going from infield to catcher. Plenty of SS’s to pitcher, usually relief pitcher.

Routine catch for Billy Hamilton or Engel (100% healthy version), maybe...

Roughly 1/4th to 1/3rd sounds about right...

Guess you need to go after Kelenic's CF defense...

Andrew Vaughn hurts hip pointer, out 1-2 weeks per White Sox
If he is injured for a lengthy period of time, the White Sox must now be setting a purely subjective baseball record for worst handling of a consensus Top 5 pick, at least in recent history. Any worse examples come to mind?

Andrew Vaughn hurts hip pointer, out 1-2 weeks per White Sox
The strange thing is that he can throw around 85 mph from out there...according to Statcast. But then there's the issue of accuracy, hitting the cut off man, more instinctual plays. Just looked much more confident in LF.

Andrew Vaughn hurts hip pointer, out 1-2 weeks per White Sox
Sox front office apparently has more leaks than the RNC during the Watergate Era.

Andrew Vaughn hurts hip pointer, out 1-2 weeks per White Sox
Gee. Amazing stuff. If we can actually do that, why not also improve highways, bridges, airports, subways and broad and connectivity/5G networks?

Andrew Vaughn hurts hip pointer, out 1-2 weeks per White Sox
He has been waiting to make a meaningful contribution since that 2008 coin flip call. Is he already at Northwestern?
-
Andrew Vaughn hurts hip pointer, out 1-2 weeks per White Sox
Well, then we simply get the Leury/Engel and Harrison show...if he's out long-term. Meaning that finishing first or second in the AL would be increasingly unlikely.

Andrew Vaughn hurts hip pointer, out 1-2 weeks per White Sox
Go with the Brian Anderson 2006 approach, assuming Engel is never 100% Just run Cespedes out there in RF for a month. He at least has the routes and arm and instincts to play any OF position well.
