  1. Now Skubal is going to go on a full four day's rest on Friday against the Mariners...have to feel for that franchise's long-suffering fans.
  2. Get Priester out of there.
  3. Huge catch by Frelick...saved 2-3 runs potentially.
  4. "The Dodgers had 4 consensus top 100: Dalton Rushing, Josue De Paula, Zyhir Hope, and Alex Freeland. Jackson Ferris was named on 4 lists, with only Keith Law (Athletic) failing to list him." It's not like Busch was going to supplant F.Freeman in LA...
  5. White Sox realistically didn't have a good match for that trade...
  6. Don't like Tucker bunting even with wind blowing in...
  7. Seattle goes from 3-0 least to trailing 7-3. Baez with an early dagger to add on to the lead.
  8. Cubs avoid early disaster, but still feels like everything going Brewers' way at this point.
  9. Not when no player has a clear bead on the ball...umpire's discretion.
  10. Reminiscent of the Gordon Beckham missed pop up on the mound that almost gave Harrelson a heart attack. Wow.
  11. Bauers in for Vaughn ... Yelich rarely leads off, doubles right off the bat.
  12. Naylor doesn't exactly shy away from contact. The Agitator.
  13. Not exactly what the Tigers needed to get the home crowd into the game there early...
  14. NBC new lead baseball analyst notes? "Jon Sciambi While ESPN made the right decision in 2023 by naming Sciambi its lead radio announcer for the World Series, it erred by not making Sciambi the television voice of “SNB.” Instead, ESPN gave the coveted TV chair to Karl Ravech, whose style is best suited for the studio, where he shined on programs like “SportsCenter” and “Baseball Tonight.” A self-proclaimed student of baseball play-by-play, Sciambi has drawn inspiration from greats like Vin Scully and Jon Miller and it shows. Of ESPN’s roster of full-time baseball broadcasters, Sciambi stands above the rest. A change in scenery would allow the 55-year-old to finally become the face and voice of a network property." sports tv ratings.com
  15. https://www.sportsmediawatch.com/2025/10/mlb-postseason-ratings-yankees-red-sox-blue-jays-viewership/ Yankees/Jays the only "down" division series in the tv ratings, but that's due to how Canadian tv shares are not included Cubs' series up but not so dramatically, around 15% higher...Milwaukee weighs that down
  16. If only Sox fans could have Guardiams' fans "problems" in terms of playoff histories since the mid 90s. https://champsorchumps.us/team/mlb/cleveland-guardians 9 times in the post season from 2007 onwards. White Sox 3. 6/7 from 1995-2001 15 playoff appearances since the 1994 strike year. White Sox=4, 5 if you go back one more year to 1993
  17. Seth McClung is a cousin of Mike Clevinger...just sayin'.
  18. Again...a Top 3-5 MiLB system is much better than #16-20. Shocking stuff here, certainly. I don't know what's being argued either at this point...that we should completely disregard prospect rankings because many will bust? Or that the White Sox system as it currently stands is criminally underrated because we don't know all the wonderful things happening behind the scenes?
  19. That's one way to market an Insta/Tiktok account I guess. "While it wasn’t a good showing for the Blue Jays after the first two-and-a-half innings and they're likely facing a bullpen game Wednesday, there is some good news for them. They are still a single win away from reaching the ALCS for the first time since 2016, and they’ve got two games to get that done. The Yankees, even after their impressive rally, still have a lot of work to do." yahoo sports
  20. Good thing I have never bet on baseball. Although I can take partial credit for reverse jinxing Judge into a standout game at least.
  21. Ironic that former hitting coach/ex player "Greg Walker" gave Getz his only A so far...😄
  22. The White Sox were last in outing length from starting pitchers in the major leagues in 2025. Part of that was openers, but when you have so many innings covered by one of the worst bullpens in baseball, that's probably not a good thing. 141 starts from regular rotation members and 21 spot starts/openers from the bullpen. Led by 5 from Gilbert...3 Vasil.
  23. "you want the Sox to obtain/develop their pitching prospects to be considered best in the game" They have all three gone backwards in progression if that was the goal. Ofc have to get to at least average starting pitching and average hitting to even have a puncher's chance. Nobody is talking some so-called elite staff right now. Walking before you crawl. But that still leaves speed, defense, execution/fundamentals/hitting with RISP, bullpen, Venable where they have to make up the difference. Somehow. The Twins selling off Buxton Lopez Ryan gets them to fourth place. Probably.

  25. When they could get YGomez S.Smith and Vasil basically for $1 million?
