Merrill third bomb of spring CHANGE left up in the zone blasted. 433 feet. 7 hits CH pulled down RF line on the chalk 7 hits 4 Xb hits. Hanging breaking ball to the wall runner advances on Gallo. Gurriel drills single up middle. tie game Almost another Heyward double down RF line...grounds out to Maton.

Bergolla almost made a great play. ..Lipcius couldnt corral wild throw. Tatis Ks on another sweeper. Cannon still hasn't had a good outing in spring. 5 hits. Maton with well hit liner to LCF. Run down by Merrill.

Maton smoked one to RF through Cronenworth. Baldwin pulled a double down REALLY line in the air kept it fair. Sac fly to Heyward good catch. Gallo walked. Bergolla ripped a two run triple on FB to RF foul pole. Bergolla 4/9 just 20. Last ten years worst team in baseball averaged 56-106 like KC two years ago.

Cease has a full beard now lol. Pretty close to SD's regular season OD lineup. OGonzalez Lockridge Ornelas E.Rosario fighting for last spot. Lipcius at 1B is new.

Well Mitchell gets his revenge game opportunity...just not sure he can do much against Cease. Any Amaya updates on the hip injury? Would rather see Maton, tbh. Not that it really matters much in the overall scheme of things.

But you were referring to Montgomery…not Benintendi. Who obviously topped out at nearly 5. He hasn’t been near 0.0 despite 20ish homers in 2024 or much better in 2023.

In what world starting with 202- is Benintendi a 3.5 bWAR guy? he was below a 2 bWAR on average for the four seasons before the Sox overpaid him.

The difference is 6-7 different ratings out there now. Back in the day only Baseball America....even 20-25 years ago.
