They're not going to cut Michael A. Taylor. If they do, it would be a shocking admission of failure or inability to trade Robert or both.

It's popular somehow but one of the more controversial ones...fits better with Miami perhaps.

https://news.sportslogos.net/2021/05/28/white-sox-represent-the-southside-with-new-city-connect-uniform/baseball/ Could be something as simple as wanting to replace City Connect jerseys every five years...in order to re-energize sales. White Sox CC jerseys debuted in 2021...Padres in 2022. Originally the Sox Southside jerseys were a partnership with Nike.

Padres are dumping their controversial City Connect jerseys after 2025... "The San Diego Padres are officially retiring their pink-and-mint City Connect uniforms after the 2025 season. The team revealed on Friday that the popular uniforms will be discontinued beginning in 2026, per Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times."

How many rookies with let’s say under 12 homers but .360+ obp can there be in recent years? https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders/major-league?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=y&type=8&season=2024&month=0&season1=2024&ind=0&sortcol=13&sortdir=default&pagenumyear just 20 hitters had a 360+ obp last year

Boston already has Campbell and Hamilton for second base…but would love to know how hard they fought to keep Meidroth once the first two pieces were agreed upon.

Wrobleski Casparius London Knack the next wave… Gonsolin…if you go back to 2022-23 and combined years had recorded the fourth lowest BAA in the majors. The others? Snell is first, Glasnow 2nd and Ohtani third.

“She, for the record. And I guess I will never for the life of me understand why, if you know they're all bad and it doesn't matter what they're working on anyway, anyone would bother tuning in to a radio/gameday feed of a Justin Anderson inning vs. the Rockies in February in the first place? Like I'm tuning in to ST because I do think it matters what the players relevant for the future are working on, but there's literally no room to have that conversation.” I honestly didn’t know it was a female poster until I re-read her posts…assumptions assumptions assumptions. At least for my part, I will jump on the Shane Smith bandwagon this year and pound that particular drum…just because it’s always more fun to have an underdog to root for.

Mookie Betts out of these two exhibition games due to illness...will reassess on off day Mon.

Cubs were shut down but not the Dodgers. Three homers in one inning from Conforto Ohtani and Teoscar. 5-0. Yomiuri starter Togo only gave up 12 homers all last season...ace of staff now that Sugano has left for Baltimore. Wrobleski would be in the starting rotation for 20-24 teams. Nice off speed stuff to go with 96 fb from lh side. Casparius as well. 98 mph fb. Likely goes to major league pen. London Knack as well. Depth pieces 8-9-10 or 9-10-11. LAD used 17 starters last year.

I've lived in Wuhan for 12 years now, straight through Covid starting in January, 2020...we taught online all the way through July 10th that year. And then online again in 2022. I actually believe that was the real tipping point for this generation of kids in Asia becoming hyper addicted to gaming and social media. Taiwan is obviously a different world from the mainland...working for an accredited school is always going to be better than ESL or a training center. Worked four years in Kansas City MO public schools as well as Colombia, South Korea, three cities in China, the Philippines and Indonesia. I think we've already passed the peak of Chinese demand for foreign teachers...just like Japan was the hottest place to go until the early 90s.

30. White Sox (30) It sure looks like Martín Pérez is going to be making his first Opening Day start after 13 years in the Majors and 269 starts (and 314 games). Don’t look too surprised: He did make it to the All-Star Game just two seasons ago.

154 was always the magic number of games until 8 more were added...at least you could maintain historic parallels with the Mantle/Maris and Ruth marks from previous generations.
