Rick Hahn says Chicago White Sox are NOT SELLING...yet | CHGO White Sox Podcast
So you think the White Sox are in a better position? One thing is for sure... if you never take a big risk and swing for the fences, you'll just end up with 2013-2023 White Sox baseball. The attendance numbers and tv ratings tell the story of which approach the fans would prefer.

Padres Thread 2023
Tatis went 3-for-4 with three doubles, two runs and one walk and a stolen base...that exact combo hadn't been done in the big leagues for nearly one hundred years.

Not yet... needs to get up from 95-96 to 97-99 to be at his best.

Or Trayce Thompson. Claudell Washington against Cubs lol. Chris Shelton. The Cubs' first month wonder that did it. There was Rafael Ortega but another that ended up in Japan.

Twins starting to put some distance between top of division and also rans.

Mize Manning and Skubal... along with Eduardo Rodriguez... were supposed to carry that team along with Greene/Torkelson/Baez.

Moncada way out in front on the changeup...

Even you have given up your predicted runs to get back in contention over so many future days into June or July. That June schedule is a b****.

LoL. Feels like anti WSI around here right now...because a number of moderators have grown so frustrated with the team.

6/2 Sox vs. Tigers 7:10PM CT
Because he was the worst player statistically in the entire major leagues after his first month...right there with Lenyn Sosa. I don't recall anyone clamoring for him to play a month ago. Maybe the biggest minor league followers...there might have been 2-3 true believers. Even Romy would say he didn't deserve to be up and wasn't playing loose and relaxed like he did at Miami and in the minors.

Shreve a former Yankee.

At least Romy is giving Sox fans some hope for the future... gaining in confidence each and every game.

He's already back to bad Kelly again his last two times out though.

Santos is a much better option right now.

Not yet. He should be in blowout games either way until he's really 100% ready to close.

Detroit fans making almost more noise than Sox fans lol.

Because the topic was spending a high draft pick on a collegiate 1B. Pujols is the best counter example of why doing that is stupid. Pujols was not drafted until the 13th round of the 1999 Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft, when the St. Louis Cardinals selected him with the 402nd overall pick.

Worst fWAR for contracts they are currently on per contract dollar of the two biggest deals in franchise history...

After Rafael Devers' $331 megadeal, what are the biggest contracts in Red Sox history? 1B Adrian Gonzalez — 7 years, $154 million. LF Manny Ramirez — 8 years, $160 million. P David Price — 7 years, $217 million. 3B Rafael Devers — 11 years, $331 million. Rafael Devers, Red Sox: $331 million (2023-34) Fine...but that's still not accurate.

Fine. But there's a considerable difference watching Romy Burger Sheets right now compared with all the veterans. They at least seem to enjoy the opportunity of being on that field. Benintendi continues to give off Pollock vibes after leaving NY and Boston.

Who else could it possibly be? Seriously...

Look at Pujols' obscure start at Msole Woods Community College in KC. Royals didn't even notice him in. their own backyard... but the cross-state Cardinales did.

Anderson just seems to have no plan whatsoever right now.
