    Exercise

used to work out alot until my neck got all messed up...probably walk about 10 miles a week right now...most of that is walking to and from the train station going to school i just bought a nice for my sons because they are planning on playing high school football so im gonna start some light lifting with them and see how my neck and left arm handle it..id sure like to get back in shape
  7. thats the way its suppose to work...those that do extra cirricular activities like should be held to a higher standard and be expected to be leaders in their schools..unfortunately thats not always the case...and when you find a situation like this one i think its best to deal with it as harshly as possible so it sends a message that anything less wont be tolerated.. football , to me , is the best sport there is (followed closely by baseball)..i hate to see it degraded by these kinds of actions done in the name of "teamwork"
  8. espn is comparing brady to the all time greats.. they have a list of the top ten playoff QB's..good read http://espn.go.com/page2/s/list/2004playoffsQB.html
  9. they'd bankrupt the dutch economy if they did that
  10. 1. you dont have to go to camp to have a sucessful football program..anything you can do at camp you can do on your own practice field..most high schools do not go to camp...so if the coaches cant or wont supervise these things correctly then you dont go.. 2.yes cancel the season..it should be automatic..because if you make an example out of any team or school that does these things then others take notice... at some point society has to stop accepting the "boys will be boys" mentality when it comes to jocks... i love football..its my favorite sport...i coach it on the jr high level..i attend as many conant and elk grove high school games i can to see kids that i coached before play..i follow the high school game closely...but if anything like this happened in our community id be the first to stand up and say we need to take responsibility..
  11. ``It may have had something to do with undemonizing the child in some manner.'' well i guess they suceeded...hope they are happy
  12. i gotta feeling the panthers are going to pull an upset here..two road wins like they had have to be great for their confidence..how many teams can go into st louis and philly on consecutive weeks and come away winners....but if the line is panther -7..then you have to bet on the pats..it should be a close game...something like 17-14

  14. brady might not have won that game for the colts...but i bet he would have played better than manning did...its not like manning is throwing to the quality recievers that philly has...manning has the supporting cast on offense...if he loses it should be in a shoot out gotta face facts...he really screwed the pooch on sunday
  15. i dont know..just going around to different sites and all these kinds of stories keep popping up...combo of a slow news day with it being a holidayand me having nothing else constructive to do iguess...maybe ill do some homework
  16. when i read this i actually had tears in my eyes..please send prayers or good thoughts his way http://www.pjstar.com/news/topnews/b1sp3885014.html
  17. a loose cannon that went off...bout sums it up
  18. burkett is 39 years old..last year had an era of 5.15..i think he is all out of gas..which is why he wants a gaurenteed contract..maybe if we had all the pieces in place except a 5th starter id consider it..but in the situation we are now...id go another route...eiither a free agent that was younger and if he did make a comeback with us would have some kind of a future (like loiaza) of just give to one of our rookies
  19. that stuff goes on alot more than people think...its big time sports(if you could call it that) in dixie
