okay..gotchaya..i think i answered that question earlier in the thread about what id do and while it might the best plan in the world , atleast it is one...something we seem to be lacking for the past 3 years....btw..your point on the clubhouse distrust is very good...if you dont mind id like to use it at the Q and A when i speak my peace about kenny

i didnt read that..will be intersting...i beliebe balt tried him as a closer at one time and he failed..the rap on rhodes has been although he has one of the best arms in baseball he doesnt handle the big time pressure situations well...have to see if he has matured over the years..

ive been writing out what i want to say one of my main points is i believe he hasnt taken this team in any one direction..my example of that is when he traded baldwin he said james was "just a bridge" until the young arms in our number 1 rated farm system arrived and that time had come...then in the next off season only 2 months in baseball time (aug-sept) he comes to the conclussion that we have to trade for todd ritchie trading away alot of that young talent (kip wells - josh fogg) because the young pitching wasnt ready and we needed veteran leadership... right now im trying to whittle down to what i think are the important points to hit on before i ask for his resignation...the big problem is if hit on everything i disagree with they'd cut me off... but your point is well taken..i plan to do it in a respectful way..not ranting and raving but with specific points to back up why i feel he just doesnt have the skills we need under the current ownerships self imposed salary cap

right now i agree that irod is not the catcher for this team...but how are we set at catcher??...thats a huge question mark in my book

and cotts has done exactly what???...it could very well be we have seen the last of neil cotts..he could very easily go the route of corwin malone...how many raved about him 2 years ago???..myself included..foulke's an all star..cotts is an unproven prospect.. besides..whatever billy beane did with kieth foulke after last year if he didnt make that trade and he kept botch as his closer i doubt oakland would have finished above 500..they went back to the playoffs because of foulke...ill bet oakland , whoever they use as their closer , he will be better than botch..wouldnt it be a b**** if it ended up being joe valntine ...

they hold different session on different topics in each of the many covention rooms..they post a schedule of who will be at each session and what the topics will be...then you just go to the one you want./..ill get there early for kenny's and get a seat right by the microphone so when they ask if anyone has questions i can jump up and make sure i get heard

seperation of church and state means there is no state sponsored religion..an example of that would be sweden..where i believe its the lutheran church thats the state reliegion..people pay taxes to the church and the church takes on some governement responsibilities.. like the church is responsible for taking the country's census... as long as no particular religion is singled out for money while others are denied the is no breaking the seperation of church and state doctrine... my church meets every sunday at a public jr high school...does that mean the local government is sponsoring us as its religion??....if they are we sure dont reap any financial gain from it.. our money has "in god we trust" on it..do any of you refuse to paid for work or use any money because it violates spereration of church and state???...you swear on the bible before you give testimony in a court of law...congress opens up every session with a prayer for wisdom..there are clubs in public schools that are religous in nature where students can join... its seperation of church and state...not seperation from church

who was director of the farm system prior to becoming GM?? and that vaunted farm system that was number one in all of baseball is the reason KW got the GM in the first place...and as it turns out the farm system was a joke... as for kip wells...he spent all of 1/2 seasons in the minors...he was learning to pitch at the major league level...as soon as he figured it all out we traded him..you dont rush a kid to the majors in his rookie year of pro ball w/o being willing to live through the growing pains... how can people not see this guy hasnt got a clue what he is doing...whats it gonna take..a 100 loss season???

its not impposible..nothing is impossible..but you have to have a plan and stick with it...for three years kenny has been all over the place....remember trading baldwin???..he said we could afford to get rid of baldwin because he was "just a bridge" until the young phenoms from the farm system were ready to take over..and that time had come....then that next off season..only two months in baseball time (aug - sept) he trades kipper , fogg , and lowe to the pirates for todd ritchie saying we had to make this move because we have no veteran pitching and the youngsters arnt ready... thats just one example of this guy not having a freaking clue about what he is doing

there is nothing you can do to fix this season...this disaster is 3 years in the making..all thanks to kenny.. what team in their right mind would take konerko and his 17 millionn dollar contract over the next 2 years...we couldnt give him away for free..the only way to trade would be to agree to take someone else's overpriced piece of crap in exchange..you could trade konerko for todd hundley but how does that really help either team??? what i would do if i took over would be to first..improve the scouting dept...our scouts suck bigtime....none of our prospects ever live up to the hype...every year all we hear is our scouts say this guy is a stud (onan masaoka - remember him??...i didnt think so) and this guy is the next mickey mantle blah blah blah...on a small budget team a premium has to be placed out scouting..you have to be able to find diamonds in the rough...in 3 years we have one - damaso marte - not a good track record.. next i dismantle this team..the only high priced talent i keep is buehrle...id keep maggs if i could convince him to sign a reasonable long term deal but i doubt that would ever work because im sure the last thing he wants to hear is the new guy's 5 year rebuilding plan... the money you do have has to be spent on up the middle players and starting pitching (which is why i keep buehrle as my only high priced guy)..thats why id have to dismantle this team...all the money right now is being spent on corner infielders and outfielders (maggs , konerko ,lee)..if we were the yankees then you can spend millions on every position but on a budget you have to get the most for you dollars and you get the most out of up the middle players...if you need a functional first baseman you can find atleast 5 every year in the free agent market that wouldnt cost you near what we pay konerko and most of them would be much more productive..you cant say that about up the middle players as we have seen with our struggles to replace durham , singlteton ect... id also make sure we were balanced..with left handed hitters that can hit left handed pitching..not just platoon players.. id work to get my up the middle defense and starting pitching set..once that happens then id move to spend more money to put the final pieces in place...

the fact that JR is a tight ass is all the more reason why kenny should resign...we need a GM that knows what the hell he is doing...kenny would be fine on a team where the owner was willing to throw money away to fix his mistakes but that doesnt happen here...if he makes a mistake we pay for it...usually for years on end.. billy beane..dont you want a real challenge???

i really dont know enough about him..his defenses in st louis wernt great but you'd also have to take a long at the personnel he had to work with...it could be he was getting the most out of his talent..guys like archeletta , winstrom and williams seemed to really excel under his systems..im thinking maybe he can get more out of urlacher , mike brown and our defensive line.. lets just hope he is the "ideal" candidate..itsabout time for the bears to roar again..actually was time about 10 years ago..until wanny showed up

i think there is a place for space exploration in future generations..but not until we shrink governemnt a little more...not the right time for this program

im not bush's biggest supporter..he strayed from his conservative roots (im especially pissed off about letting illegals in)..but this program makes alot of sense..this program grew out of governemnt reports that showed that african american in their 40's who have been married for 15 years or more are making 96% of what their white counterparts of the same group makes...when you figure the survey also showed that a majority of those couples meeting the criteria came from the south (bible belt) where salaries are pretty much lower accross the board as compared to the rest of the country that 4% shrinks even more... how many african american kids today are growing up w/o a father in the picture??...the ideal situation would be to have the church handle these things but the church has failed its communities miserable in this area... while i wish the president would find ways to shrink the size of our government this is one program i believe is worth paying for...cant say that it for sure will be a success but its worth an attempt...

its been pretty obvious from his first trade with toronto and how screwed up that was that he doesnt have the skills for the job...im not saying he isnt intelligent../just because youre smart doesnt mean you qualified to do every job there is...KW just doesnt have the skills to be sucsessful in this job...i believe its that simple...this line of work isnt cut out for him..
