good point ill add to that remember in '00 when they came back off the 7 games in new york / cleveland where they went 7-0..they came back to a packed house and got a 5 minute ovation... what garland needs to realize is we as fans have spent god knows what percentage of our disposable income on this team year in and year hoping against hope that this might be the year...when they play lke they dont care they are gonna get ripped.... i this team won the world series , every player on this team would be set for life...look at the 85 bears..this guys are all over the radio and tv...not to mention how many make thousands just for lending ther name to a company or giving an hour motivational speech...how many made careers after football out of that one season???... this town in dying for a winner..thats where the frustration and booing come from if garland meant the fans that attack personally or hurl insults then he should have said that...he said fans that boo...he needs to make that distinction

passapequa(sp?) ny...high school baseball team goes to florida for a tourney...a parent chaparoening takes the team , all but 2 under the legal age of 18 to a gentleman's club to watch strippers and drink..result is the coach and his assistants all lose their coaching and teaching jobs... same weekend in las veges..another high school team...the head coach goes gambling..leaves the team in charge of his assistants..they hire strippers and bring in beer for the team..again almost every member under the age of 18... you got the hazing incident here local where it was supervised by adults who are the adults here

There's an awful lot of talent there. I'm sure it was an enjoyable concert. There were too many great songs recorded buy each of those guys for it not be. billy joel did something cool..he said since he could play all his siongs he'd let the audience decide..so he gave out 3 songs and they played the one the got the most cheers...he's pretty cool...really works the crowd

you can pay me the league minimum and boo me all daty long...the way garland has pitched when he walks off the mound he should be leading the crowd in a chorus of boos....he just doesnt get..these guys have it so good...let him toil in charlotte for awhile..he can screw up there as much as he wants and no one will boo
