Abreu with that sweet sweet warning track power edit: he might've robbed a HR on second look

thank god Cease isn't a likely post season starter, barring some freak injury. bad cease is really really bad

Abreu needs to snap out of his slump at home, crush maeda like an mvp

Yoelkis Cespedes
it's just a thought exercise, nothing wrong with discussing it my guess is they would limit his ABs assuming he was called up next year, doubt he'd be pushing any starters out of the lineup

where is this kid gonna play assuming Mercedes, Vaughn, Eloy, and Robert are all starters?

White Sox up to 3rd in MLB power rankings
just wanna say, I would love a Sox vs Sox post season rematch, I like how we match up against Boston, our offense is good vs good pitching and we can pretty much shut down even good hitting teams. just wonder if Sale is back by July / August like I've read

Madrigal.
anybody else notice how the royals were pitching madrigal? everything was up or up+inside. his strikeout was up+inside do you think the league might have figured out a way to pitch him, or do you think his numbers are always gonna be roughly the same as right now?

I'd put Rodon ahead of JDM but flip a coin
-
Rodon
100+ pitch outings 2016 Sale 26 times, 6 complete games 2015 Sale 25 times 2014 Sale 22 times the point of my first post was clear as the numbers reflect what I said, the Sox increased his work load every year until they traded him. my post didn't say "it's normal to expect 100-120 pitches per outing from your ace", especially when those last few years saw us resting Sale a few times due to elbow tightness. but if you felt that was an expected workload given the circumstances, then idk if I would agree. Kershaw for comparison only threw 100+ pitches 6 times in 2019, and 7 times in 2018 Scherzer is on the Sale-esque workload, his arm is ridiculous though. He did have a neck injury and I think a back injury tbf
-
Rodon
isn't an AVERAGE of 107 pitches per game a lot though?
-
Rodon
Sale threw 6 complete games in his final Sox year lol, could be wrong but I remember him throwing a ton of pitches that year also

Twins series
Lamb and Hamilton will probably start vs Maeda judging by their splits ?

Twins series
so tired of all these days off, I'm sure the team loves them but can't we just run off like 10 games in a row?
