  1. the twins and white sox are f***ing bad teams right now, if either of these two teams limp into the playoffs playing the way they are right now, it'll be a very brisk 1 and done that's my opinion and i'm entitled to it there's a month left of September baseball to right the ship, but they're gonna have to wake the f*** up, that's for damn sure.
  2. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Sep 2, 2008 -> 03:24 PM) Swisher in LF and BA in CF then, probably. owens/swisher/dye forearm soreness for quentin? that sounds promising
  3. Isn't Duch on the DL now though?
  4. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Sep 1, 2008 -> 09:29 PM) Any guesses for what? Uribe, Fields, Masset, and Richar for Roberts!
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 1, 2008 -> 08:48 PM) An infield of Swisher, Alexei, Getz, and Fields would be one of the worst in the American League. I hate to say it, but Fields has turned into Joe Borchard. Fields had so much trade value early on in the season, and we kept him for a reason I have no idea on now that we know Uribe can play 3rd with stellar ability
  6. clayton richard sucks. cliff lee is awesome. that's basically where this game ended up. not to say that clayton will always be this bad, but right now he just isn't good. he has very little control of his pitches (how often tonight was he falling behind 1-0, 2-0 to hitters? even farmer mentioned it)
  7. http://www.hardballreport.com/content/view/1632/67 Maybe Mark should worry about his own mental toughness, instead of Gavin's. All Gavin has done all year is stop the bleeding. Mark's ruptured the vein on multiple counts. Sorry, s*** like this just pisses me off. Mark opening his mouth about Gavin's mental toughness serves no purpose, and could only have one outcome scenario. Like I said, this isn't a new article but it is from this year
  8. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Aug 31, 2008 -> 02:24 PM) justin morneau showing why he should probably be mvp. ehhhhhhhhh...
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 31, 2008 -> 02:24 PM) Thanks for making me think this is what actually happened. Great win by our new stopper! lol
  10. the real MVP ends the game.
  11. basehit ties the game, hilarious
  12. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Aug 31, 2008 -> 02:07 PM) Alexei should be our leadoff hitter with Ocab behind him. or have alexei bat 2nd, either one would be better than what we have right now IMO i will admit i wanted to see swisher back at the top of the lineup but he's just not a good hitter for average
  13. nice recovery, sick of these leadoff walks though, so frustrating.. time for bobby to wipe off the cobwebs
  14. i like how dotel can just bust out a perfect curveball whenever he wants
  15. lineout to CQ works, can you throw some f***ing strikes octavio? please?
  16. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Aug 31, 2008 -> 01:49 PM) please don't let it be one of those days 3-0 to kotsay, wheels are basically off at this point unless we get lucky with a DP or something.
  17. LOL at Dotel. He's so hilarious.
  18. gavin hasn't thrown an actual strike in his last 3 pitches, lowrie will probably walk or K about time
  19. would be nice if gavin had an out pitch right here
  20. gavin getting hit HARD, it's only a matter of time
  21. bronze glover. 3 out
  22. nowhere to put him gavin, haha. this team is hard to watch.
  23. all of this s*** with 2 outs, nut up gavin. ffs.
