  1. anyone remember the game last year where AJ destroyed K-Rod and won the game off him? lol edit: double for AJ off K-rod
  2. QUOTE (G&T @ May 15, 2008 -> 11:53 PM) Oh, and we might want to hit a home run because we won't win if we don't. sad, yet... so true.
  3. AJ leading off, followed by CQ and Dye this is our chance to walk out of here with a split in the series let's get something going here... :|
  4. slightly off-topic (sorta sox related), i bought this batting practice Knights ball-cap on minorleaguebaseball.com a few days ago, came in the mail today gorgeous hat, highest quality ball-cap i own right now, i love the charlotte logo new era makes some nice stuff.
  5. oh do tell, how many miscues does it take for this team to get to the center of a loss? edit: this is BS, think we'll score another run and then hope that Bobby doesn't blow his 3rd save? these angels hitters are chomping at the bit right now
  6. how many times have we seen Torii up in situations like this, and absolutely kill this team? bad feeling
  7. this team beats itself too much. it's getting to the point where it makes me sick to watch them play when it's close & late situations
  8. you could argue that all 3 runs scored by the angels so far in this game, wouldn't have been scored if routine plays were made our defense just isn't very good beyond 1B, and 2B IMO
  9. Joe My D is overrated Crede blows the game, and the win for Javier. unreal.
  10. javy at 100+ now on the pitch count, how long do we leave him in?
  11. QUOTE (G&T @ May 15, 2008 -> 10:25 PM) Carlos Quentin has some type of magic in his bat. he's gonna hit another bomb and an umpire is going to call it an out, because he has too much magic on his bat.
  12. into the shift god i cant bear watching this guy anymore.
  13. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ May 15, 2008 -> 09:48 PM) Bases loaded...Thome up...inning over. i hope not but, 1-2 count already, whiffed at a 92mph fastball edit: 2-2 count now
  14. Thome is 37 with 8 career grand slams Crede is 30 with 6.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ May 15, 2008 -> 09:46 PM) Had a great pitch on 2-1, but fouled it off. He has quite the vulgar mouth. thought it was just me hearing things
  16. jon showing velocity up, and on the corners, off-speed stuff over the plate
  17. CQ might not get a very good pitch ot hit in this at bat i'm thinking
  18. my god, AJ is on fire, hitting like .312 or .313 now pick him up Carlos
  19. nice oppo-hitting OC, even though it was an out i liked his approach a lot tie game
  20. LOL look at the gap in right-center gee, the book isn't out on this team or anything is it?!!?
  21. nice, accident swing but i'll take it bases juiced for profundo!
  22. Javy's stats on the year so far: Bolded relevant stats pertaining to tonight's game: vs. Left: .312 vs. Right: .206 Home: 3.29 Road: 4.01 Day: 1.64 Night: 5.10 Turf: 1.93 Grass: 4.26 Current Month: 3.38 Last 30 Days: 3.82
  23. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 14, 2008 -> 11:47 PM) ha, on the angels board they think Jose throws a spitter. Lackey was loading up the ball with his arm sweat all night and Jose barely licks his fingers and its a spitter. hmm? i watched the game earlier when it aired and i'm watching the encore right now, i haven't noticed either guy loading the ball up with any moisture also a splitter doesn't require any moisture to make it work (???), i think i'm misreading your post though
