again, Rick just needs to trade for consensus top prospects. that isnt hard to do so long as there are offers. but as far as the rest of the rebuild (coaching, scouts, technology, minor league development, he cannot be allowed to handle any of that s%*# trading for prospects is the easy part, developing them into above average MLB players is gonna be tough until they blow it up and bring in people who have a track record

JR sucks but the level of spending isn't what's killing this franchise. its how they spend their money. they are inept, they don't invest in quality coaching, technology, scouting, nor do they sign the right free agents (check out the latest Southside Sox article on Rick Hahn in the other thread) TB spends a fraction of what the Sox do. I'd rather have Abreu at DH than a guy who plays 100 games a year.
