  1. What about Cody Ross, it seems like he could be had for fairly cheap and he's played all three OF spots in his career.
  2. Rafael Soriano has been really good for pretty much his entire career.
  3. Is Danks hurt? He hasn't been playing the last few games.
  4. Flowers may not be killing the ball right now, but he's taken 7 walks in his last 4 games. That's nice to see.
  5. Morel 3/5 with a triple and 3 RBI. Average up to .291 on the season.
  6. Lillibomb!
  7. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 02:44 PM) We have traded away Richards, Ely and Gonzalez just to name three who haven't done all that bad. I hope Hudson is just experiencing nerves and will show us something in his next satrt, if he gets one In Ely's last 7 starts his ERA is just under 7.50. I'm not saying he's going to be a total bust or anything, but his upside really is as a #4/5 or as a long man in the pen.
  8. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 02:11 PM) With a little more patience, I think Viciedo can become a Billy Butler-like hitter. Hits the ball hard and lots of line drives. That's the type of career arc I'm hoping for. Although maybe with the HR power coming on a little sooner (almost by default because of the difference in their home parks) and not quite as good of a BA
  9. Too bad Greinke didn't pitch today. I don't know how we're going to be able to score any runs off Lerew.
  10. That curve looks more like a "show me" pitch that he should be using to grab a first pitch strike, if at all.
  11. QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 12:34 AM) Any ideal on an innings cap this year for this guy? He threw about 165 innings combined last year. Somewhere between 180-190 innings would be my best guess.
  12. It's not a save situation, so Bobby's not in there. Might as well save him for tomorrow in case we have a lead.
  13. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 09:44 PM) gameblouses
  14. That rocket up the middle from Carlos gave me visions of 2008.
  15. QUOTE (balfanman @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:50 PM) Who is the Sox best career hitter against Weaver anyway? Mark Teahen.
  16. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 5, 2010 -> 08:05 PM) Steve Phillips doesn't look as stupid anymore. Well, Kazmir was productive for a good 3 years... It was Jim Duquette.
  17. Just when I was starting to like Lillibridge.
  18. Carlos Quentin's evil twin strikes out.
  19. What has gotten into Lillibridge?

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 03:30 PM) Justin Greene went 0-3, 2 Ks in his Birmingham debut. He's just trying to fit in with the rest of the team.
  21. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 02:45 PM) You absolutely give Beckham through the break. Maybe he doesn't make an out, hits like 12 homers, and gets a nod on the All-Star team. YOU NEVER KNOW With Pedroia going down .327 with 14 homers just might land him a spot on the team.
  22. That guy can't even spell, how am I supposed to take him seriously?
  23. Justin Smoak is putting up a .278/.389/.478 line in June. He got off to a bad start but I don't see the Rangers needing to acquire a first baseman unless they move him to get someone like Cliff Lee.
