Yeah this tends to happen when your manager is 80

I find it very hard to believe that JR is going to fire LaRussa after the whole premise of his return was built around righting a wrong the first time he was here. I would imagine both LaRussa and Hahn are back next season with LaRussa finishing out his contract instead of being fired.

Tony LaRussa inherited an ascending team that has done nothing but regress under his command. Rick Hahn hasn't helped with him with lousy moves, but the problem in my opinion is the fossil chosen to lead this team. Fire LaRussa, Fire Hahn, and watch the 2023 White Sox win the AL Central.

Nobody really wants them to lose or for Luery to fail but the disappointment of this season has drained all of us at this point

Even with how bad this season has gone, they still could have won this division but they didn’t do shit and kept the same underachieving train a rolling. I hate watching these guys so much, it’s such a shame they totally botched this rebuild because they had a shot at making it special.

The team scuffling like this is probably the worst thing that could have happened because now they can just pin it on injuries and fluke and point to 2020 and 2021 as a reason to “stay the course”

I still think back to when reports came out the sox interviewed LaRussa and thought it was one of those token doing you a favor type of deals but then the nightmare had come to life.
