  1. First of all, if your trying to say Troy Brown is a no one where have you been the past 3 years?? He missed some of last year due to injury but here are the Pats top three WR Deion Branch 57 rec. 803 yards and 3 TD's David Givens 34 rec. 510 yards and 6 TD's Troy Brown 40 rec. 472 yards and 4 TD's The pats run an offense that spread the ball around, and all of their WR have been doing a solid job for three years now hence NE superbowls 2 CHI superbowls 0 That's a great example of why we can survive with the receivers that we have now. Another example is the Chiefs. Look at their top 3 WR's last year: Johnnie Morton, Eddie Kennison (their leading receiver among WR's), and Donte Hall. Now at KC.. they have one of if not the best offense in the league, and they do have talented players catching the ball for them as well.. Tony Gonzales 71 rec. 916 yards 10 TD's Eddie Kennison 56 rec. 853 yards 5 TD's Johnnie Morton 50 rec. 740 yards 4 TD's Johnnie Morton was a star in detroit, look at his career numers he isnt just some ok WR.. Eddie Kennison was a first round pick IIRC, and Tony Gonzalez is the best TE in the league.. Thinking the Bears have the same type as the Cheifs and Patriots is way off.. Look at the career numbers of what they have on the roster now, its not going to compare with these two teams... Not to mention they have Pro Bowl quarterbacks throwing to them as well.. Im not trying to knock the Bears I like them, but I just dont think they havea shot at the playoffs this year
  2. Yeah Charles Rogers got hurt and pretty much missed the majority of the Season, but when he played he was good for them... Roy Williams is going to be STUD Look at Harringtons numbers, they have improved each year and now he has those two to throw too, so I would expect some big numbers from him this year... Tait and Brown help big time on the O Line for Chicago but Ogunleye isnt going to get more than 8 sacks this year and you can Print that because he no longer has an all pro DE on the other side drawing double teams.. O Gun is now going to be the man getting double teamed, you are going to see what you really got.. Thats just how I feel

actually im pretty sure Garland isnt trying to get his era over 5 Just because he is struggling young doesnt mean we need to shove him out of town.. RIGHT NOW he would be a great 5th starter for us, but down the road he is gonna be moving up the rotation... there are a lot worse options out there for us...
  4. Would you rather have Charles Rogers and Roy Williams or the two Bears starters?? Joey Harrington is about to go into his thrid year as the starter.. Yeah you could make a case for the RB posistion because no one knows how well Kevin Jones is going to do.. but no, I wouldnt say that those apply to the Lions as well They also added Brock Marion and Fernando Bryant and Damien Woody, three big picks ups for this team.. Im not a big Lions fan, but I think that they might shock some teams...
  5. There is no way the Bears are going to make the playoffs this year... They have no proven recievers and they have a question mark at RB with a QB who is still learning... remember, he only started 3 games last year They have to play in a TOUGH division... Green Bay is always tough, Minnesota has improved their defense and they have two players who are near the top at their posistions with Culpepper and Moss... Detroit is going to surprise some people this year too, you watch.. Da Bears wont make the playoffs this year but things could look good for them in the future, I just dont think its gonna be this year

Fields up to .277 Thats good to see, good sign for us
  8. Set Roster... Why would you want to do a fantasy draft?.. That kinda defeats the purpose of the game.. Dont you wanna be the real NFL team? On the other hand, you might wanna try something different and a fantasy draft could be fun... However you look at it, I always do set rosters though..
  9. So im not allowed to say watch out for the Ravens? Im pretty sure that I wasnt acting like I just discovered this, I was naming their team strengths and was saying why i think they could be a serious contender for the super bowl.. nice sarcasm though, theres no need to be a jackass CrimsonWeltall
  10. I thought I just told you over AIM.... Loaiza is DONE!.. We need to add a pitcher in FA along the calibur of Pavano or Clement
  11. Yeah no s***... But I am talking about going all the way to the superbowl and im pretty sure that there are some people on the boards that DONT know that about the Ravens and would like to see that...
  12. Virginia Tech is going to be BLOWN out tonight... book it... Va Tech is a program on the decline, and I wouldnt be surprised to see something like 42 - 14 tonight... USC has 3 outstanding RB's... a TOUGH Defense.. and a Heisman contending QB No contest
  13. i wouldnt doubt it... the man is still in great shape and Deion has been a cover corner, prolly the best to ever play the game, I wouldnt ask him to be be a hitting Cornerback... If hes gonna get me 7+ Interceptions a year then he is doing his job.. Youve got a problem if you have to rely on your cornerbacks to be making a lot of tackles anyways... thats the front sevens job... and even past them should be safties next.. Deion is only going to be playing in a Nickle back role anyways because Baltimore already has two young good cornerbacks in McCallister and Baxter... He is in on pass protection package so they got him for what he is, an excellent cover corner.. Its a great addition in my opinion and should make that amazing defense even better... Watch out for Baltimore this year.. They have a BRUISING back thats gonna control the clock and an amazing defense that was in the top of the league in sacks and turnovers last year and is always top 5
  14. i agree with you...
  15. Thats the reason right there... Bird, Magic, Jordan ALL of them were superstars Look at our team now, we got like 2 superstars out there... If Tmac, Shaq, Garnett, and McGrady were out there we'd be moping the floor with "Lithuania" Its pathetic
  16. That idea... it is terrible i dunno if anyone knows but thats what Samir says on Office Space to the jump to conclusions map.... eh I try
  17. Now that is more realistic
  18. Your thought is good, but theres no way Baseball would do that
  19. ACC Champ: Florida State (Miami has Brock Berlin and lost a TON of Defensive Studs, If Rix pulls his head out his ass Fla St. Wins it.) Big East Champ: West Virginia (What a joke of a conference) Big 10 Champ: Ohio State (Edges out Michigan) Big 12 Champ: Oklahoma (K State with a repeat shocker lead by Heisman winner Darren Sproles and a TOP notch Defense) Pac 10 Champ: USC (Yup) SEC Champ: Florida (Going out ona limb, Chris Leak is the real deal) Conference USA Champ: TCU/Soutern Miss (One of them will win it) MAC Champ:Northern Illinois (Who Cares) Mountain West Champ:Utah (Who Cares) Sun Belt Champ:North Texas (Owns SunBelt) WAC Champ:Boise State (Who Cares) Big Ten Standings 1.)Ohio State 2.)Michigan 3.)Purdue 4.)Minnesota 5.)Iowa 6.)Wisconsin 7.)Michigan State 8.)Penn State 9.)Illinois 10.)Northwestern 11.)Indiana Heisman: RB Darren Sproles, Kansas State Orange Bowl Florida State over LSU

Looking at his overall stats he might be one of THE best Minor League pitchers this year... Does anyone know if there is another minor league pitcher out there that has better overall numbers than BMac has so far this season???

When I moved to Texas I was at some bingo thing with my mom, I went to the concessions counter and asked what kind of pop they had and they lady looked at me and said "What is pop?"
  22. cw was my favorite poster on this site... He was a great guy, he would always tell me how he enjoyed reading my posts, well I really enjoyed having him here and appreciated the kind words that he said to me during that time... I talked to him off the boards a few times and he is a great guy who I am going to miss on the boards now.. I dont know the whole situation but I wish that he wasnt leaving because he was a great poster and an awesome person.. I hope maybe one day he will come back because I know I am gonna miss not having him around..

BMac pitching good... Im listening to the game
  24. I was surprised how bad I played That was my first time to play online and I think I have learned some things that need to be changed... I picked Baltimore because they have a good D and an average offense I wanted to be able to run and play some D but I see for online mode your better off with a good offense so you can score points in a bunch.. Playing D and ball control doesnt work well online with 4 min quarters... If you want a rematch Ill be in there
  25. I got killed 30 - 3 If anyone else wants to play me just PM me and what not, get a hold of me.. Ill post my cell number too if need be... wanna play lets go
