Maggs is the hottest player in baseball right now I cant believe what I am seeing out of him this is amazing.. If he keeps this up for the rest of the year and Delgado falls off maybe Maggs could push for the MVP award??
-
eh Lowe was no good...
-
Screw them... Royals suck... Anyway... I think what we are doing on the field is speaking enough for us South Siders
-
I picked the sox to SWEEP this series... looks like my prediction is right on track I DO however remember seeing some of you jackasses voting that the sox would get swept against the Royals... Thats something I do know i saw on that vote.. ANYWAY White Sox are kicking ass and Roman, just for you I will stop with my insane ramblings!
-
This is getting UGLY... Man seeing this makes me soo happy
-
Sorry Roman, but i dont agree with ya here man I dont believe in jinx anyway... the White Sox are DUE and we are finally starting to play like the team that was supposed to show up at the begining of the year So sue me for being happy!
-
Ehh I dont think i am gonna jinz us... right now nothing can stop us, its awesome
-
Maggs is FILTHY!!! This is getting good... can we say 2 games back?
-
Im telling you there is NO WAY Konerko hits in DP
-
If one year doesnt rui na career why would we give away Koch? I would be willing to bet anything hes our closer next year and saves 35+ games he needs more chances here with the sox.. let me remind everyone BLOWN SAVES Koch - 4 Marte - 6 Koch is not bad, he needs more chances to get back to where he was

Red Sox get Williamson from the reds for some minor leaguers and cash according to ESPNews
-
Schonenweis ISNT going to be the Sox 5th starter according to CBSSPortsline.com Ken Williams said he will get a chance to be the 5th starter in spring training but right now his major use is going to be in the bullpen With that said I am assuming the sox will deal for another starter OR use someone from the minors.. But Schonenweis is not gonna be a starter for the White Sox this year, according to CBSSportline, and they have Williams quoted as saying he isnt going to start... I hope the sox pull another deal to get a starter!
-
I sure hope the sox arent planning to use Schoneweis as the 5th starter or i am going to be very dissapoited... I was hoping they would go for a better pitcher like taking a shot at Ponson, Escobar, or Hernandez If he is in the pen cool, but I dont wanna see him starting
-
yeah what the hell are you thinking putting Koch on waivers? That would be like the reds putting Griffey on waivers because he hasnt been putting up the numbers he use to and OBVIOUSLY isnt what he was... I wouldnt even say Koch is having a bad year.. Hes blown what 4 saves, that isnt that much, and his era is like 5.43 which is bad, but I mean its not that bad because relievers suffer big time with the era, you can get your ERA really high and it takes forever to get back down due to the ammount of innings you throw.. Koch is going to be better next year and I am sure he will get better as we head down the stretch, but releasing him or sending him down would be a waste
-
I agree as well I was just saying that its not as useless as one would think, but I wouldnt hold a report on a player on how many holds he has
-
The Hold stat helps you see how many times the reliever has enetered the game and NOT given up the lead.. In a way I think this is a useful stat although I would rather look at ERA and record K's Innings Pitched and Walks before I looked at holds but they arent that bad.. It just gives you an idea about how they do when they are in the game with a close lead
-
I wouldnt want Kevin jarvis.. Too old... if we are making a trade I would rather get someone that would stick around for a while like Escobar or Graves Even though I am not too high on graves I like what we got in our minors to work with
-
Danny Graves sucks... he should have never tried to be a starter I would rather let one of our AAA pitchers get a shot at being the 5th starter
-
Promote him to Chicago now!
-
I do not think that seattle is much of a threat.. They are on a decline and the white sox have a far better offense then the mariners even with our struggles.. We are starting to get going and I think we have been scoring like 6 runs a game since the break.. Your tellin me if we bring up Cotts to pitch about 5 innings that he is gonna give up more than six runs? They have never seen him before so i think he could do pretty well.. And besides, why not take a chance on our lone futures game represenative.. I think he would do a good job and why not let him get a little taste.. if he struggles, let him get a little more work in the minors and next year make him the number 5 man.. This is all if we dont trade for a 5 starter, if we trade keep him down
-
I got your back.. I am a Koch supporter and I believe that if he doesnt turn it this year next year he is going to be his usual badass self
-
LDF I dont understand why you insist on saying you would include Garland in a package for someone to help us now when Garland IS someone who is helping us now, thats what I mean.
-
Correction **I am sure Maggs would NOT turn down a contract offer
-
LDF trading Maggs and Garland would be STUPID no matter how narrow minded you think I am being Your saying trade them to make the team better when they are some of the peices that HAVE this team better right NOW I dont understand your logic here And I am sure that Maggs would turn down a contract offer from the White Sox to go play somewhere else and if that does even happen when he is almost done then trade him but until then trading our best player is not smart at all.. Garlandis a 23 year old pitcher who is having a solid year so far.. what more do you want? He is only going to get better, if your going to trade anyone trade Colon to make the team better he is the one who is faltering here.. NOT Maggs or Garland.. so please, explain how I am stupid again..

When a team scores 6 runs they should win a game
T R U replied to Loaiza21's topic in Pale Hose Talk
there are plenty of instances where the pitcher doesnt give up any runs And ANYWAY he doesnt give up any in his 2 innings and the game is tied
