I think the Sox are in good position to win the division this yr. Our pitching is solid, we are gonna have a good bullpen and our hitting cant be as bad as it was last yr.. All KC has done is sign a bunch of backups.. Matt Stairs sucks, Benito Santiago is like 60 yrs old, Jose Lima will not pitch the same I saw that bum pitch here in Houston, he licks. KC pitching sucks, and adding Juan Gonzalez isnt gonna do s***, hes a damn baby. I can see the Sox winning it with what we have now. Just look at it. C Olivo 1B Konerko 2B Harris 3B Crede SS Valentin LF Lee CF Rowand RF Maggs DH Thomas that is not that bad of a group of players.. not to mention SP MB SP E Lo SP Garland SP Schoenweiss SP (One of our Minor leaguer/FA) MR Koch MR Marte MR Wunsch and then some of our good arms in AAA and we could also see J Reed too, and I would like to see him get a shot.. and what if Borchard finally hits his potential? A lot of things can happen for this team and with the week division, I wouldnt be surprised to see it happen.. this is the SAME TEAM that started the season last yr. Minus Colon, Graffy, Daubach, Gordon, and Rick White. So dont get all negative, we were close enough to be in it half way through it can happen again.

if we deal him to LA for pitching they better make sure they get a damn bat because that means we lost Maggs and Nomar, and all we get is pitching... We need a bat to make up for the loss, so it better be JuanGone or someone else.. I will be dissapointed if we dont

I think with Lee. JuanGone, and Nomar... plus Frank I think we would be ok with the righthanded lineup.. Our pitching was the strong point last yr and if we improve them I think the hitting will regain its form and everything will be good for us on 04

No but things should happen in the next few days and I am just praying that we dont end up getting the short end of any thing that happens... dont get your hopes up for Nomar, that way if we do get him it will feel better and if we dont we can say we knew it wasnt gonna happen anyway.. just an easier way to think of it

ESPNews just said that Maggs will go to Boston.. Nomar will go to LA... and the Dodgers would send us Odalis Perez, Mota, and ONE prospect.. that Pitcher... Im pretty sure we arent getting Nomar, but the LA package which I think is a rip unless we get 2 top prospects

the Sox wont get Nomar... hes goin to LA... and I think thats gonna leave us with nothing... but I mean Maggs is still good to have, we could have just had more flexability with moving him to LA not to mention getting some top prospects

If all this happens we will look dumb.... LA wont want Maggs anymore, and then we wont get those 5 key players... this just sucks

If we can move Maggs and get some prospects, im all for it... Maggs is 30 and is makin a a lot of money and if we get prospects and clear up some money, I think we would be better off.

Pastime you need to learn how to READ I did not say he was worth 8 mil.. I am arguing the point that he has been ABOVE mediocre which he has. All the ppl who said he had only one half of good baseball when he has clearly produced for us. read it right next time.. I am not trying to say hes worth the money

I am just sayin that everyone who is saying that he has had "decent" years needs to look again because he has had solid years in which he produced for this team till last yr, and he was a lot better in the second half..
