Any gearheads out there?
I need to take a few automotive courses. It's really good stuff to know. All my friends are always talking about cars and I haven't the slightest what they're talking about. I don't think that many people get hassled for owning a few cars. I'd really like to own an old el Camino some day... those things are sweet.

What kind of food are you currently addicted to?
We always go through stages where one thing tastes awesome during a certain week or even month. I'm currently addicted to tortilla chips and salsa. Ohhh yummm.

Man, that's a lot of posting. I've been here just one year and I think that I post a lot.

Pop Up Ads
I never ever get popups - Thank you Mozilla Firefox, the best web browser with a built in popup killer. The only particularly annoying things on my computer are when I startup, there's a search bar in the task bar. None of my programs can seem to get rid of it. But all I need to do on startup is right click and disable it.

Philly Considering City-wide Wireless ISP
You cant compare electricity and internet, in my opinion. There's no information you can get that you can't get without it. It may be faster, but there's a dearth of other ways to get it. Need to talk to someone? Phone call. Need to talk to your boss? Phone or fax. Need the weather? Weather Channel. Need the news? News channels. Need some food? Delivery. Got a project to sent to a co-worker or boss? Fax it. The internet may be faster for these things, but by no means do you need the internet. Electricity, you need. You need it for the news. You need it to cook. You need it for the essentials. No one builds fires and cooks over that anymore. Some day in the future maybe no one will use the TV or Phone for information, but that's still a bit far away to make the internet a home essential. Wait for the day when News Networks start streaming their news live over the internet instead of on TV, and when you talk to people over the internet instead of telephone, and both the TV and telephone will die out. The internet isn't ready yet. Technology also needs to advance more. Computers with many gigahertz processors and probably a minimum of 500 GB of space will be necessary to do the multitasking that you would if the Phone and TV died out. You would also need very high powered internet connections, like many megabytes per second. All these technologies will probably be available to us in 10 years. I think I rambled a bit on about nothing...

Sox Grinders
- The Official Help Me With Homework Thread
You'd better believe it. I've probably fallen asleep 10 times already trying to read this book. On the bus, in the class, in my bed. Gah, what a boring book.- The Official Help Me With Homework Thread
Quick, what happens in chapter 16 of the Scarlet Letter, the worlds most boring book? Wait, I think I know this one... Hawthorned describes the A on Hesters chest for a few pages, talks about how Pearl is a devil child for a few more, talk about how ashamed Dimmesdale is for a few more, and then a bit of new dialogue. End of chapter.- Sox Grinders
I'd add Willie to that list too. It may not show it in his average, but he has had a lot of good at bats this year, working them to 3-2, then lacing one to left field. He just needs to learn how to steal a base.- I'm grinning ear to ear
This teams out of it but winning is always a great thing and it makes you feel good. Now... I wish Gload could play some 3rd base... that would be IDEAL! Burke/Davis is a fine catching torrent. I said this in the game thread: We use Burke when there's a tough pitcher out there and we need some base hti guys, and we use Davis when we need more of a line drive/power hitter out there. I-freakin-deal.- AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Ross Gload is f***ing awesome. He's been nothing but clutch all damn year.- Game Thread: 9-1-04 Sox vs. A's
WE WIN!!! WE WIN!!! ROSS f***ING GLOAD!!!!- Game Thread: 9-1-04 Sox vs. A's
I like this... LISTEN TO THE SONG!!!- Game Thread: 9-1-04 Sox vs. A's
Burke/Davis is a great catching torrent for next year. Burke if we need some on base guys for a particular game, Davis if we need a more power oriented lineup.- First Day of School
If they do it off school grounds then it's up to the police to get them in trouble but most kids are crafty enough to not get caught.- Game Thread: 9-1-04 Sox vs. A's
Haha, the Twins and another nobody. Tiffee will probably be the next Sox killer. How nice. The crowd is really into this game.- First Day of School
Eh, Tony I tend to recognize the people that make fun of other people as the jocks. They always do. Usually lower classmen too. I should clarify what I hate. The people who just start GIGGLING over some stupid kid making a joke that completely sucks, and you know for a fact that they would not laugh at the same joke if some "non popular" kid said it. The people who are disruptive during class because of their popularity and no one seems to care because he is God of school and the teachers dont care because they don't want to get on the bad side of 75% of the class. Wear Abercrombie and hang out with them all you want and I'd care less. Be annoying and stupid like the others and I'll keep on the hating. Surprisingly, I'm acquainted with a few preps. Not friends, just people to talk to sometimes.- Game Thread: 9-1-04 Sox vs. A's
That's a tie game on an Alomat base hit and Hawk and the fans act like it's a pennant race.- September 2004 Quotes of the Month
It is.- First Day of School
