  1. I agree. He is good, but not close yet. And I didn't see the Duke-Illinois game lol.
  2. While I agree that most won't fully pan out, most still should.
  3. The Knights won 2-1 in 13. Joe Borchard scored both runs. An overall great effort from the pitching staff. Josh Stewart with the start went six giving up only one run on 3 hits. Jose Santiago, Majewski, and Darensbourg combined to pitch 7 innings of shutout relief. Here is a link for the Knights webcast of the game. It has a box score for each team and a play-by-play. It's very cool. Add that to the streaming audio you can get is good stuff. The Knight's radio guy is really good. Knight's Webcast Here is an easier to read box score.
  4. Yeah, you're cool. Sorry for the miscommunication. I think would have been pretty pissed thinking was badmouthing me about s*** that I didn't do, lol. I can't even say his name. If you pay attention around here you will know. He won't go unnoticed and I bet he will get banned soon enough.
  5. I can't imagine what is going on in his head. He probably was already a little disappointed to not have been promoted having he was Kanny Player of the Year last season. Now he is tearing the cover off the ball and the guys in front of him are all struggling. Then again he may not keep track of what those guys are doing.
  6. He IM'd me yesterday complaining that I was saying I didn't like him. I thought that was interesting, especially since I don't remember giving him my AIM lol. He must have checked my profile. Maybe I should rethink putting that in my profile.
  7. Fixed. I forgot to copy the url for the Kanny box score, so when I pasted it was still the Bham box score. Thanks for catching that. Anyway, I just noticed that Miller k'd 6 with only 1 walk, but gave up 7 hits. I don't know what to think.
  8. Thanks for the info Jim. Kanny lost 10-7. It was a pitcher's duel turned hitter's duel. The teams combined for 4 runs in the first 7 innings and 13 in the 8th and 9th combined. Needless to say starter Brian Miller pitched well, but the bullpen was awful. Thomas Brice continues to show that he deserves a promotion with a 2-5 effort. Newby Leo Daigle went 3-5 and Seth Morris went 3-4. Box Score
  9. As far as I know he has e-mailed the minor league teams saying he has a website and would like passes. He told me that all I have to do is e-mail the teams and say I'm with FutureSox and I should be able to get extra info. I doubt they would give me a pass out of the blue, but Jas has em. Pretty cool huh? Oh wait, I've said too much.
  10. Just out of curiousity, but do you know any of the guys on the team? You make it sound like a chat is possible because of connections. Anyway, I'd like to ask Reed what it's like being a God. lol Seriously, I'd like to ask Reed, "Have the expectations and the pressure affected you?" For Nelson: "What has the transition from Japan been like and did playing in Japan improve your game?"
  11. Yeah, Jenny Fitch is a babe. The rest of them are so ugly.
  12. Bham lost 9-5 to Greenville to split the 4 game set. Chris Stewart (who?) went 3 for 4. Box Score Charlotte is in the 10th, 1-1. Kanny is losing 6-3, top 9. W-S got rained out.
  13. Flaming, jump on the bandwagon, whatever. You got the idea.
  14. Good stuff other than the fact that Reed at leadoff and Nelson at 3 appears to be a one time occurence. Don't bet on it happening too often.
  15. Don't everybody flame me at once. You guys are really rude when you are flaming, it's actually pretty funny. Actually, no it's not.
  16. Matt Schaub because he will redefine rot on the bench.
  17. Friday's game was the ugliest because we didn't win it, Tampa Bay's lack of defense lost it.

    Kill Bill 2

Yeah David Carradine played Bill perfectly. He was a great character with good lines, personality, and edge. A unique combo that you have to see the movie to appreciate.
  19. Good to see Lopez get some action. He didn't dominate (3 hits, 1 walk in 2 IP), but he didn't give up any runs. Stumm pitching that long and that well is very encouraging. From what I've read it doesn't seem like he can make it as a starter, but maybe he is a future closer in MLB? Either way, nice to see him pitch well.

    Kill Bill 2

It was good, but I liked the 1st one better. This movie was different. It was more a quality movie based on the fact that it was unique. The 1st one was gory with amazingly choreographed fight scenes.
  21. Beastley is coming back? :headshake Happy B-Day everyone else!
  22. Well McCarthy did play 2 seasons in rookie ball so it appears the Sox are in no hurry to rush McCarthy along. He isn't dominating in Kanny anyway. His k/bb ratio is impressive enough that he might warrant a promotion, but I just don't think it would be a good move at this time. He would have to show that he is a class above the hitters in the South Atlantic League. His last 2 starts haven't shown that. Again, his k/bb ratio might be enough to get him promoted, but I think the Sox will wait for him to step up a bit more before promoting him mid-season.
  23. Krenzel, omg. What a s***ty QB. I can't believe he got drafted.
  24. Maybe, but I just feel ripped off by everyone who overhyped him. Then Sweeney struggles out of the gate. Maybe the two events aren't independent.
  25. Yeah, this is what I'm thinking. I also don't want to have him in AAA too long like Crede as dk said.
