Thanks. I made it myself. It was quite an adventure, but in the end I'm very proud of it. I will NOT be volunteering myself to make sigs for others simply because I have a s***ty program, I'm not that good at it, and it takes way too long to make it good.

Brandon McCarthy makes my new sig proud with another solid outing. Kanny won 4-1 behind 5 innings of work giving up the lone run. 4 Ks, 3 BBs, and 3 hits. It wasn't his best work, but it sure as hell wasn't bad. Thomas Brice, aka Mr. Promote Me To Winston-Salem Already Damnit, went 3-4 with 2 HRs. This guy is just playing a level down. He is tearing it up in Kanny. Oh and Chris Young had a HR , but he went 1-4 with 2 Ks. Box Score Rauch also pitched solidly as well. 5 IP, only 1 run, 5 Ks, 0 BBs. Reed and Nelson both went 2-5. So where does Rowand come into the equation here? He only has 4 key differences and you already mentioned he doesn't have as good of an arm. So what's left for him to have like Rowand? C'mon Jas, I like Rowand as much as the next guy, but to compare him to Reed who should be a far superior player is unwarranted. Also, it is hard to tell a player's heart (Rowand's best trait) when he hasn't faced much adversity. Reed has dominated every level he has ever played at (he bat .333 in college), his heart will be tested when he plays in the majors. I'm not saying he has no heart, desire, etc. but it hasn't been tested yet. Again I like Rowand a lot and have wanted him to get chance after chance. He simply hasn't gotten it done this year offensively. However, I would like to see Rowand get a chance to play out of this. Last year he was beginning to hit better and Everett came in. I would like to see Rowand get a chance to prove himself over a full season. Remember, there is no trade deadline with Reed. We can call him up in August and if we don't call him up then he will be up in September.

I don't know about his arm, but I do know that Reed has pretty solid speed. He stole 45 bases last season between Winston-Salem and Bham. Granted, he won't steal that many in the majors, but he has speed for sure.
