  1. Well let's see him keep this up for another 2-3 weeks before even talking about it. He has 2 4-6 games which have him hitting .290. Outside of those 2 games he is hitting .211. I'm just happy to be seeing him hitting well at all.
  2. I've had 2 cats put to sleep. It's hard to deal with. We currently have 2 cats now. Each one is unbelievably unique. We had a cat that was always really nosy and affectionate. One was an asshole to the other cats (that's what happens when you have 2 cats, and add 2 to the household), but he was always pretty playful. Especially for a fat cat, lol. Now we have a female that HATES me. She is weird because she likes to be brushed REALLY HARD. You'd think you were hurting her, but she loves it. The other we have now eats all the time and is very cuddly and stupid. It's humurous.

    Peeee-uuuuu!!

I see the title and think PU you stink Purdue! That's just nasty as hell.
  4. It's pretty good but ultimately just a pain in the ass.
  5. Don't forget, Bradford for Olivo is in that book. Olivo is playing damn well and Bradford has been solid. I see no reason why that proves he is a genius. He isn't always right.
  6. It's very debatable whether Hudson is an ace, for the simple reason that Mulder and Zito are arguably better, lol.
  7. Before you do something drastic and call him awful give him a chance to adjust to MLB. I'm sure he'll turn it around, but he won't be a superstar.
  8. Anybody know how Orionny is back on the club? I thought he was sent back to extended spring training.
  9. Yeah I said that in the game thread. The Sox would either have to give 2 top of the line prospects or 1 top of the line and 2 2nd tier prospects. The amazing thing is...it would be worth it.
  10. Jenny Finch is a babe. I'd hate the bastard, but he makes up for it by pitching well against the Cubs.
  11. Yeah I said Hudson would be the last choice of the 3 if the Sox were to get one. Let's just think about it though: the odds of this happening have to be 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000.
  12. It's funny because it's true. I would seriously give up Sweeney, Honel, Anderson, etc. Basically any 2 of those or one with two 2nd line prospects. Of course this is a ridiculous scenario. For the record the Sox should stay away from Hudson, I just think he isn't as good as he was/as good as the other 2.
  13. With Buehrle not pitching well this year and Loaiza struggling despite getting wins who is our ace? Schoeneweis has the best ERA among our starters with Loaiza 2nd and Garland right behind him. I personally see Garland become very reliable, but Loaiza is still pitching pretty well. Who is our ace? It sure as hell isn't Buehrle.
  14. I'd rather not talk about them until we officially don't sign Maggs. That's my point. As long as Maggs is still on this team he is the RFer for a long time.
  15. I don't like red heads, but I like her. That says something!
  16. Chris Young K-meter: 31 He has only reached base 26 times. On the flip side his slugging % is .494. It seems like he's got something if he could stop being Sammy Sosa at the plate.
  17. As I said Bham lost 5-2 to Chattanooga. Nate Murphy went 2-4 with a HR. Heath Phillips struggled. Baj, dominant, with 2 Ks in a perfect inning of work. Box Score
  18. Winston-Salem won 6-3. Becker and Rogowski each had HRs. Sweeney went 0-4 with a walk and a run, he also got a guy out trying to stretch a single into a double. (I was listening to the radio broadcast when it happened) Anderson 0-3 with a walk, Nanita 1-3 with a walk and a stolen base. Sean Tracey got the start.Box Score Kanny lost the 2nd of its doubleheader. Chris Young had 3 walks and went 0-1 (it was a strikeout of course). David Cook went 2-4 with a HR. Rafael Flores made his debut with the team going 3 innings giving up 2 ERs on 3 hits, 2 walks, and 1 K. He started as mentioned by Mn. Box Score Bham lost 5-2, no box yet.
  19. I'll eat the biggest crow of all time if we come back. We won't. I'm willing to put money on it.
  20. Thanks. I never would have thought you would have taken the initiative, oh well. I'll just go back into my corner and do some formatting for the top 50.
  21. This is one of those 'serenity now' games. I'm listening to the Warthogs game. Sweeney pegged a guy out trying to stretch a single into a double.
  22. Are you s***ting me? Guillermo Reyes Sent Back Down to Birmingham Reyes demoted to make room for Wright By Danny Santaromita With pitcher Dan Wright sent down to Charlotte shortstop Guillermo Reyes was sent back to AA Birmingham to make room on the Knights' roster. Reyes took the place of fellow shortstop Kelly Dransfeldt on April 20 when Dransfeldt was called up to the White Sox. Reyes posted a dismal .083 batting average in his four games with the Knights. Reyes was only batting .143 in Birmingham in fourteen at-bats. Last season the 22 year-old switch-hitter bat .210 with 34 RBI and 15 stolen bases. Red hot Mike Morse has been playing shortstop for the Barons and should remain the starter. Reyes could be featured as a utility man behind Morse and 2nd baseman Ruddy Yan. Reyes played two games at 2nd when Yan was nursing an early season shoulder injury. Delete it if you want Jas. I got some stuff in mine that you don't and vise versa so try and combine 'em.
  23. Makes sense, Reyes was getting dominated in AAA and he was only up there because of an injury.
