Well to be honest I was at school for the last game against the Twins and I went to my high school's football game tonight and missed much of tonight's game. So, yeah, I have missed the last few games, lol. Just listen to your ridiculous self. The team is in first and you are complaining and angry. That's just wrong. f***ing be happy this heartless team is in 1st instead of staying angry at the f***s.

I don't really want this to be another argument, but merely a count of what people think.

Yeah this team plays bad and has little heart. I agree it does look bad, but I'm cherishing this and having some blind faith. I'm turning the other cheek because this team is in 1st place. I can't back out now I figure. I even said (and it's in my AIM profile), "The White Sox are not destined to make the playoffs. If they were they would have run away with the division. I'll be surprised if they make the playoffs. With that said, GO SOX!" on August 9th. I guess the fact that I expected little from this team the whole year (preseason pick of 84 wins) has me happy that they are this far. I just don't see how you can give up on a team that's in 1st place. Regardless of remaining schedule, they are in 1st.

It does look bad, but there are 15 games left and we are tied for 1st. It's hard to complain about that. Granted the schedule looks bad, but you gotta have faith. This team is rarely in a divisional race, so don't complain when they are in it this late.

Oh I agree, but Real could beat a good amount of the teams in the World Cup (USA is one of them and they made the quarterfinals so....)

I know. I was pissed back then because all of the Cubs fans were so excited to have him. Now they are calling him God (1 cub fan told me Prior=God and every cub fan I asked about that agreed ). In retrospect, it's good to have him out of our division and the AL (even if he is on the cubs).

DBAH0, there are club teams that are better than the team you fielded. Real Madrid, is better than a lot of national teams, so I guess they don't really count, but other than them there are plently that could beat that team. I like rafa's team better because it has 3 former or current Roma players and 3 Italians.

Mauer won because he has a higher upside than Reed according to most scouts. They want their POY to become a star to make them look good. Most scouts think Mauer has a better chance at this than Reed. I'm not going to give my opinion on this because I've only seen stats of Reed and read reports, while I don't know anything about Mauer other than that he was picked ahead of Prior as the #1 pick in the 2001 draft.
