Let me get this straight. He brings his Florida team into Miami, they dominate the 1st half and end up losing by less than a TD with the game coming down to the last play and you think he should be fired? It's not like just anybody can go into Miami and play that well.

We will beat you this year. You can mark my words. We outplayed Air Force for the most part. It was 21-13, but then Basanez threw INTs on 3 straight possessions late in the 4th. One they returned for a 79 yard TD, the other they turned into a FG. It's disappointing, but I don't see how you can say Missouri is better than Air Force.

I, for one, didn't think the Twins were done. I still don't think the Royales with cheese are done either. 2.5 games back on September 6 isn't too much to make up.

LOL well you guys barely beat us last year and we are MUCH better this year. About you guys always beating us, it's been an even 4-4 dating back to 1995. A team's history has nothing to do with how good they are this year, but it's a good bet Missouri isn't much better this year. Of course I could be wrong here, but I've heard the same old about them in the preseason. Again preseason means nothing, but it's a decent judge of how good a team will be. Baseball is different in college football. College football teams become perennial powerhouses. Sure the Yankees are almost always at the top, but they are the exception rather than the rule.

That surprises me. I'm not a fair weather fan either, but there are other teams that I like year after year. For example I like Florida because I liked Spurrier's offense, it was fun to watch. (I'm loving them pummle Miami as I hate Miami) I wouldn't consider myself a big Florida fan, but if they are on tv I'll watch and root for them. I also like Va Tech because watching Michael Vick make college defenses look silly was just beautiful to watch (then Vick got picked by my already favorite football team, the Falcons, bam!). Of course if either of these teams played Northwestern (which has never happened that I know of) I would easily root for Northwestern without thinking twice.

Missouri sucks as in I can't remember the last time they were in a bowl game. That is if they were ever in a bowl game...

Ok before you totally flip out at me I wasn't attacking you like you are attacking me. I'm just saying it's really odd and I don't understand how you can have 2 favorites, regardless of the reasons. I won't go to Illinois anyway, that's probably a bad example. I hate them too much to go there. Besides how do you know I would root for them? About supporting your teams to the fullest you are telling me that you don't like ANY other team than Illinois and ND? Not even a little bit?

Uh-oh. Don't plant seeds like this. This is how WSI lost a lot of it's members. I know some people hate posters mentioning WSI, but people kept arguing just like this. Bmr got banned and I was happy about it then, he had changed though. Recently he is back to being an ass. Let's try not to argue too much, it will only tear us apart. Devanon comes up big with a 2 RBI single. 6-5 Angels! The Royales with cheese really can't afford to be losing much. With the Sox and Minny both winning of late 2.5 games seems like a lot in this race.
