I met Chris Stewart 4 years ago when he was with B'ham. He's a hell of a nice guy and a workhorse behind the plate. I hope he gets the backup job.

I know Keith Ginter, Erasmo Ramirez & Gookie Dawkins are in Minor League camp with the White Sox. Anybody know of any other veteran players in minor league camp?

Because of all the women in B'ham he nailed, yes. Because of his baseball skills, no. I watched him play in person, he blew hard. He was rude to everybody and insulted B'ham after he left.

By the way, Getz has a speaking voice that would put Barry White to shame. My theory is that they may actually be distantly related. Getzy's from Michigan, Morneau's Canadian, interesting...

He shouldn't be a free agent for long, he'll be signed by someone to play a AAA. Just thought he'd be a low risk pickup for Charlotte, almost like trading Griffey for him.
