I think it's safe to say that the other 29 managers in MLB wouldn't say "I hope we don't get swept" just before an important series.

Charlotte's short handed on starting pitchers. Bisenius and Zaleski are on the DL, Cassel and Serafin are in their places. I think Serafin is still eligible for the Dash postseason roster. I don't think the Carolina League is as strict about postseason roster eligibility as the Southern League. Kent Gerst finished out the regular season with Charlotte in 2009, then was moved back to Winston-Salem and played in the playoffs with them.
