QUOTE (Tex @ Sep 10, 2010 -> 12:59 PM)
My next birthday will be so nifty
Tex will be the big fifty
I really do not feel like it at all. I wonder sometimes how old my students think I am.
What's your E.D. medicine of choice?
QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Sep 8, 2010 -> 04:30 PM)
Agreed. I have all their albums and yeah I've seen them live twice. I'm still stuck listening to Feeding the Wolves, I haven't listened to anything else since it came out.
They're almost flawless live. I hope they're still as good with Brian moving drums to guitar and having a new drummer. "Fade Into (The Ocean)" is by far the best track.
For those newly married men, here's an example of something you don't say as a married man..."Man! This f***ing ring is keeping me from getting p***y."
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 10, 2010 -> 12:13 PM)
married to a Cubs fan for over a year
My wife is a Cubs fan too. Although her player t-shirts consist of Soriano, Theriot and Pierre.
29 and 1/2, I'll be the big 3-0 in March. But, hey, 30 is the new 20. This was the first year that there wasn't a single Barons player older than me. Next year they'll be even younger.

His name is Dylan, which I assume is pronounced the typical way of (Dill/in). That wouldn't work.
Well, you could still pronounce it like the dude from Chappelle's Show if you wanted.
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 09:01 PM)
Damn, Axelrod has just been dominating this year. I wish he was 4 years younger.
7 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 9 K.
That'll work.
Hey Joe, Die-lawn, hot fire.
QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 7, 2010 -> 10:51 AM)
Don't hate on Alex Smith this year. Crabtree and Davis are good targets. 9ers have a top notch defense as well.
Been hearing it for years, still waiting...
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Sep 8, 2010 -> 12:16 PM)
I wouldn't be surprised to see the Seahawks finish last and win only 4 games.
Probably, but that's why they play the games. Go Seahawks!
QUOTE (Disco72 @ Sep 7, 2010 -> 10:17 PM)
Nobody posting yet on Sons of Anarchy? Wow...what a season opener! Some stuff I never expected. This season looks absolutely incredible.

McEwing's got a great chance to move up to Birmingham's manager job next year.
Hope so. Or they'll fire him for being too successful.
QUOTE (scenario @ Sep 8, 2010 -> 11:03 AM)
He's a September call-up.
And not nearly as shady as Boston sending Dice-K down last year to pitch in A-league playoffs as a rehab assignment.
I was just going to mention that.
None of you guys should ever move down here, you'd suffocate from your allergies. I'm allergic to everything, but I don't take anything regularly and have built up a tolerance.
It's nice to be a Seahawks fan when the other QB's in the division are Derek Anderson, Sam Bradford and Alex Smith. Hasselbeck is better by default. The division is ours again!
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 7, 2010 -> 08:14 AM)
As many others are saying, I think the AA team next year is likely to be quite good.
I certainly hope so.
QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 6, 2010 -> 04:40 PM)
Phegley with the golden sombrero.
The Barons phoned it in today. They were swinging at everything on purpose to get it over with. Today's stats are meaningless, both teams and the umpires were ready to go home. The players weren't hiding the fact that they were trying to help the other team win. Defensive indifference in a one run game in the 8th, that's what they call a farce.
