Walker doesn't have a great track record of getting lefties out though. It seems that we'd want a lefty specialist who opposing lefty batters hit less than .270 against in the last three years.

You're right, I probably wouldn't care as much if I didn't know Jeff. He deserved this more than Walker, however. And if it doesn't matter about the spot then it shouldn't matter who it goes to.

The fact that it's a non-move makes me even more upset. Knowing Baj, he'll act like it's no big deal, but the fact that he's kicking serious ass for a horrible Charlotte team and getting passed over for a guy who can't get AAA hitters out stings.

But we should rely on Walker? This is the last guy in the bullpen. It's not like we're gonna have them out there in a pressure situation a whole lot.

It's like we're saying, hey pitch as well as you want down in Charlotte. It's just too bad you throw with your right hand.

You can't really say Walker is either. I fail to see the logic behind this. It's not like Baj had to be added to the 40-man or anything.

Over the last three years: RHB .314 vs. Walker LHB .273 vs. Walker Yeah, I suppose he's better against LHB. :rolly

If Walker can't get out AAA hitters what makes you think he can get out major league hitters? Do you want a AAA left with an ERA of 6.00 or a AAA righty with an ERA of 0.71?

Baj deserved this, but I guess since the bastard throws with his right hand, he doesn't. Burke's down because Harris is probably off the bereavement list.

All depends on Gload's injury. Who do we have that can play first? I'm blanking. Burke can while he's up, and maybe even the Widge.
