So I was tutoring an 8th grader yesterday who told me his one loss 8th grade team could beat our 2-19 varsity team. So, of course, we are defending our honor tomorrow nite on the school yard. Street hoops live, I guess. Anyone wanna place any bets?

I'd be very surprised if Honel ever plays in Chicago as a WSock. I also think yo can't predict that Vazquez will sign with us and the MLB is just too fluid to predict anyone being anywhere. BMac, however, is a stud.

For a few guys that were retired I just released them from their teams and set their attributes to 0.

We had our winter sports banquet tonite. Look at these monster numbers one of your admins put up for his career. 24 games, 1-5 3pt., 2-9 2 pt., 2-5 FT, 9 total points, .4 ppg, high game - 3, 1 OReb, 3 DReb, .2 rbg, 2 fouls b****es. Seriously though, I'm so glad I went out. It was so worth it. Better than that jackass Jason and his intramural badminton.

ISU went about making Baylor its b****. ISU wins 77-57. Opened the game 19-0.

I'd much rather have Davis than House until House could prove he's a suitable major league backup. As far as a 1b/DH for when/if Paulie leaves....we already have one. His name is Ross and he likes talking about how lucky he is to have gotten his wife.

I do have to say Brandon impresses me more and more the more I hear about him.

Of course we could do it, have Valdez or Ozuna as the backup IF and with Mackowiak being able to play cOF we could just get rid of Timo.

People don't like baseball here. Also, what's a reasonable team batting average for high school?
