  2. I do say soccer has the easiest way to prevent tanking - relegation. There's a million reasons why something like that would never happen, but you're not gonna see full-scale tear downs if it may result in your team dropping to a second division.
  3. Lot of crazy just happened
  4. MILB.tv is probably your best bet. Hopefully more is put into the product in the future, but I'd be surprised if there was.
  5. In football, you know when the action is going to happen with each snap, in baseball you don't know on any given pitch if the ball is going to be put in play.
  6. I'm locking this thread for now. Theres's a difference between political discussion and petty personal attacks. If someone wants to make another immigration discussion thread, go ahead. This one's done.
  7. It's the first magazine cover with an altered graphic in journalistic history
  8. I heard Trump told that girl that she'd be sent back soon
  9. There's a difference between tanking and trying to lose. The entire purpose of this year is not to lose games, it's to figure out how many people we have that are worth a shit (not a lot). But it's also to give guys like Lucas, Reynaldo, Covey, Yoan, etc. a chance to work on and refine things and grow. Each one of those guys figuring something out is one less issue moving forward.
  10. Eh, if he's that analytical then he knows he threw well, better than he has all year. Highest velocity of the year, more swings and misses, as of right now he's still only as good as his next start anyways.
  11. I wonder how Jason would be as an announcer if we didn't suck and had good baseball to talk about. That was a really nice run to get
  12. Hey! Good things! Cedeno hasn't sucked!
  13. I don't think that's going to fix any issues
  14. Eh, at least he actually had a good night. Fun fact, fourth pitcher or the inning and we have recorded 0 outs.
  15. Today is enough to make any White Sox fan quit baseball
  16. Chris Volstad, Mr. High Leverage himself.
  17. I don't blame much of this inning at all on Lucas. Clear during the first batter he was gassed. Still the most encouraging outing for him on the year.
  18. He's starting to fly around a bit. I take him out after this batter.
  19. Giolito refuses to suck tonight! 8 K and the ERA below 7!
  20. Semien still can't seem to field, mere seconds later.
  21. ENGEL NARVAEZ GIOLITO THESE ARE YOUR NEW GODS
