Beathard was a stud and the WR balled out. Line played well without their center. Lazard quieted the Desmond King talk but other than that, was a butt whooping.

I don't know how good Iowa State will be this year, but the fact that there were over 50 RVs and busses ready to tailgate at 8 AM this morning for a game that doesn't occur til tomorrow at 7PM against an FCS school means we can still drink with any school.

Really interested to see how Iowa turns out in the election. Trump does much better here than you'd think for a state he lost to Cruz in the primary. Hillary lost to Obama in 2008, and while the state isn't super liberal, it has gone Dem more often than it hasn't lately. It's really a pretty unique state in electoral makeup.

Paging NSS According to Scout, Iowa State has the #2 class in the Big 12 right now (#30 overall; OU is #3). Matt Campbell is an impressive dude.

I still can't be convinced that Trump isn't running to help Hillary win, because he's not running the campaign of a person that wants the job.

A chunk of me is sad that we'll never see a Trump-Biden debate.
