  1. Looking forward to this much more than DJ last night!
  2. Just came here to post the same. Good news.
  3. 1. Crochet 2. Crochet 3. Crochet 4. Crochet ^ repeat as necessary. ? ( * disclaimer - this is a joke. )
  4. Reminds me of this article from July 20th... very relevant: https://theathletic.com/1937984/2020/07/20/luis-robert-and-nick-madrigals-adjustment-speeds-could-sway-white-sox-season/?source=user_shared_article ”Luis Robert and Nick Madrigal’s Adjustment Speeds Could Sway White Sox Season”
  5. Believe it or not... this is a photograph of a woman contortionist preforming... while one member from the “audience” is tossing her a rose.
  6. That won’t work.
  7. Was going to say exactly this. Hopefully they can turn the corner... specifically yoyo and Robert.
  8. Adding to what ptact said, 8 years of life on an elite arm sure would be a win here. Everyone’s different of course but no one should be writing this kid off of anything right now.
  9. Not unlikely but haven’t we heard this before?
  10. It’ll be fun to watch us go against him.
  11. Cool, glad to know he got right into a game. I’m watching tonight on a delay, had to pause it in the 4th to take care of hi8is JR.
  12. Looks like a different pitcher than his debut. Just give us 5 IP and 3 ER or 6 IP and 4 ER. Yea. Not happening ?
  13. Madrigal leading off his first MLB game makes me a happy camper.
  14. Yea, and in the right field conversation we’ve got heavy connections to the international market as well. Things are bringer than I can remember since 2004 and surprisingly, one could argue easily that this era surpasses that.
  15. The 4 game set against Cleveland coming up will give us more insight, as the last series did. So far so good and there’s no reason not to have a lot of hope!
  16. Fully expect us to be very active in trade talks this offseason. A one year option on both would really put us in a position for 2022 free agents like: Outfield: Michael Conforto, Tommy Pham Starting pitchers: Noah Syndergaard, Max Scherzer, Zack Greinke, Mike Foltynewicz
  17. I just want to see his facial expressions and emphatically call him Pitch Face with every possible chance. Really don’t see a place for the Burger even if he gets himself rehabbed and on track.
  18. I really really REALLY want to see pitch face on the Sox as a resounding successful major league arm.
  19. I'm with Eloy on this one.
  20. Initially when there was no news released other than his opt-out, anything stated was speculation. After that we learned the choice was multi-faceted... - Divorce + Newborn on the way - Concerns about his arm's health - COVID concerns - Resulting mental health / personal concerns All of these things have been expressed from sources directly related to him and are no longer in the world of "speculation". Speculation included things like, "Venessa cheated on him" and "the child isn't his own". Let's all be happy he's resuming throwing activity, wish him the best for our team, and be supportive.
  21. Don't discount the OP man... he's a vile hoopster, afterall. Kid got mad game.
  22. That's what I said! Well, pretty much. ? ? ?️
