maybe while driving in his car KW happened to get stuck in traffic.... maybe while stuck in traffic he looked to the car too his right and saw none other then randy johnson, rodger clemens, and carlos beltran..... maybe then he smiled that good ol' kenny williams smile.... maybe then carlos, rodger, and randy told kenny that they will all demand to be on the sox next year and they would play for free..... maybe all these huge super stars dont really want money.... maybe all they really need is more smiles and love from the likes of a super duper GM such as kenny.

i really dont think that ben davis is that bad i mean, he catches a really good game, is great with the glove, the arm, and his calls.... his bat has a ton of promise as we say last year.... and hell, even if he dosent hit a ton, oh well... we got ourselves a good defensive catcher i think with a lot of playing time, this guy can develop nicely time to address greater holes.... like its been said... our starting rotation, our RF situation, and our middle infileld.... there are plenty of outher routes to take in order to get this team in motion

in reality what happened was, KW got tired of bidding for these "old over priced good players" and decided to pull a rabbit out of a hat with this guy in order to out bid other clubs right out of the gates, KW offered this guy a 4 year 55 million dollar contract. thank the lord he signed.

from what ive read, kendall isnt even a possibility ie: wants to go to a west coast team

all i can say is im glad im not the GM of the sox heh i would have a very hard time trading garland as i think he is right now one of the best #5 starters in the leauge. he also has the potential to break out and show us what we have all been waiting for. i would just be hard pressed to trade that away and open another hole in our rotation. not having a solid starter at the back end of our rotation as we do now is hard enough... having TWO gaping holes in the rotation would be even harder our biggest need right now IMO is to get a front end starter ( a #2 or #3 starter ) without trading any pitching.... getting a free agent would be ideal.. then trading paul konerko for someone with a high OBP hopefully it will happen like this, but i doubt it will

i really dont understand how we are building a team based around pitching... and trading pitchers for a catcher... i mean, i love kendall and all but that would open up 2 holes in our rotation? if kendall for garland goes down i hope that we can sign someone like clement or perez and make a trade for a pitcher now, if pitsburg included wells... then it makes sence as long as we dong have to give up much more then garland. 2 mid level prospects i just want the f***in season to start

1. i think our starting pitcher will come in a trade 2. i think we will start the season with harris/uribe as starters 3. i think we will sign a uitliy infielder to back up harris 4. i think we will sign a bullpen arm how, who, when i dont know

i think that its very possible that contreres and garland both win 15+ games next year.... while i think its also possible that they both give us at least 2/3rds of their starts at a quality start level.
