He deserves a lot of the blame but it’s hard to put it all on him when JR was making choices over his head about the manager… then allowing that manager to make GM type decisions on free agents and trade targets. Hahn and KW biffed the rebuild when they traded for the bird man closer hack job. Didn’t help that they followed that brilliance up by failing to sign a proper left fielder, right fielder, second baseman, and starting pitcher for depth. I’ll always be curious how many of those choices were a function of Bologna’s input. Could absolutely see him telling everyone they “had it already” with Leury being the man for second and Eloy / Vaughn being a viable solution for the corner outfield spots. They all need to go. f*** ‘em.

In November I’ll probably be remodeling two bathrooms and a bedroom getting my house ready to sell. Turkey is also in the cards. December I’m sure it’ll be the whole Christmas tree present wrapping family shindig. January I’ll have a bunch of people celebrating my 40th birthday while I will, surely, be trying to forget how fucking old I’m getting. February will probably be around the time I start looking forward to warmer weather. Maybe the economic uncertainty of our world will have unraveled more and I will have sold the house. March I may venture to Arizona for my first spring training since 2005. My son will turn 9. Hopefully his c*** of a mother will actually allow me to be with him this year… and I’m sure by this time I’ll have represented myself in a family law hearing or three. April will come around and the White Sox will have done some s%*#… and I’ll be happy baseball is starting again. So there… my 2023 off-season plans. Joy.

Welp… I sure am glad to have decided to take hi8is jr to the Dodgers game tonight instead of watching this horse s%*#. Dude. I can’t believe my son and I were there live when Pujos hit 699 and 700. The little guy talked me into going to get nachos in the third inning… so when Albert hit 700, we got to celebrate in that line. ? About 20 seconds before he hit it I sent my best friend this text: “I’m in line to get nachos for 20 bucks and Pujos is up again already. So he’ll probably do it now that we’re not watching.” Three minutes later… CRACK! Fucking priceless.

I was there tonight with hi8is jr. Amazing to see 699… I let the little man talk me into going to get nachos in the third inning. So we got to hear the sound of 700 and watch it on a TV at the concession stand. ? It was still astoundingly awesome.
