The only scenario we would have to be in for me to care about losing 2 straight from the Cubs would be in the World Series. Why the hell should it matter now? There are roughly 3 more months left to play... Sure it's painful losing to them seeing as most Sox fans have an extreme hate towards the Cubs, but, it doesn't really matter at this point in the year. No worrying here.

Yeah...Soto is beating A.J. in a lot of offensive categories except average. As much as I love A.J., Soto deserves it a little more.

THESE are the Tigers I've been expecting all year. Yesterday they gave us some opportunities and we didn't capitalize. Tonight their hitting is solid and Verlander is dominant. If they take 2 of 3 games out of the series or get a sweep, I think it will jolt some life into this team. Watch out.

I'd hate to say it but, if a Sox-Cubs WS were to happen, I think the Cubs would win. They have fate and an even 100 years on their side.

I'll say this -- I wanted them gone, yet I didn't. Why aren't we questioning the play of Konerko and Thome in this thread? The answer is simple really -- they have proven that they are capable of producing in White Sox uniforms. We've seen them be consistent with us in the past. But with OC and Swisher, we haven't. We know they're talented and capable, but have never seen them do well up until recently in White Sox uniforms. I think it was just a matter of proof that they can produce with us. Can you understand what I've just said?
