I understand baseball is build on pitching and defense but if Ranger saying we win or lose because of pitching is a little too much. If we go on and lose a series in the playoffs 1:0, 2:0, 1:0 would you go on and say we lost because of the pitching? Teams need to score runs to win games, and I think it falls equal on pitching and hitting. Let's assume Adam Dunn was trader here on Saturday, do you think Kenny would keep Kotsay on the roster? I don't think so.

Wikipedia: Any player under contract may be placed on waivers at any time. If a player is waived, any team may claim him. If more than one team claims the player from waivers, the team with the weakest record in the player's league gets preference. If no team in the player's league claims him, the claiming team with the weakest record in the other league gets preference. The more I think about it and thanks to Kalapse I think, Torres will be called up to pitch the DH, Viciedo will be send down, and after the Torres gets sent back down, Teahen will be back.
