  1. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Apr 11, 2015 -> 01:39 PM) If our catcher is going to suck defensively anyway, might as well start Soto. He's 1 for 2 on CS, right? That's better than Flowers' 0 for 8 I guess.
  2. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Apr 11, 2015 -> 01:38 PM) Pelfrey crying because he walked him, twice. I never noticed the lady completely getting her nose shredded in the .gif in your signature until just now.
  3. QUOTE (hi8is @ Apr 11, 2015 -> 01:36 PM) Only one of us here knows how to correctly predict a HR. Get your game up, son!
  4. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 11, 2015 -> 01:34 PM) SotoBomb. My feed is ahead of your guys'.
  5. Pelfry hit 94 there. Hmm.
  6. 1 for 10 on CS! Yaaaay! Great play by Micah there. The kid may not have good fundamentals, but his crazy athleticism will result in things like that.
  7. QUOTE (hi8is @ Apr 11, 2015 -> 02:20 PM) Damn it. I give up. Never again this year will my posts be directed towards a forced calling of a HR. None of those balls even left the infield. Good job, idiot!
  8. Bases loaded, 0 outs, we get 1 run off a deflection off the pitcher..... hoooo-raaaaaay.
  9. God damnit. Real nice play by Plouffe. f***er.
  10. That may just be the first thing that's gone our way all season.
  11. There is that damn chopper to SS! lol.
  12. Trying to not be a downer here, but I got a feeling a patented "Avi chopper to SS" is coming here. Hope he slashes it to RF instead.
  13. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 11, 2015 -> 02:11 PM) Come on Adam, rip one in to the gap or down the RF line here..... A walk is cool too.
  14. Come on Adam, rip one in to the gap or down the RF line here.....
  15. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 11, 2015 -> 02:07 PM) I agree, if he makes the plays I don't really care how goofy he looks doing it. If he starts to make errors on easy plays then we might have a problem. Well that's the thing. It's not as if he's been bad, it's just that he looks very uncomfortable. It wouldn't surprise a lot of us if he ends up booting a few because he looks awkward out there.
  16. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 11, 2015 -> 01:59 PM) Johnson makes everything look difficult He looks uneasy when a ball is hit towards him. He sure does give his all on bloopers though. He is diving for everything, haha.
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 11, 2015 -> 01:55 PM) Eaton with a real slow start I don't know that this is in any way to blame, but I saw an interview Eaton gave last night that said his goal this season is to hit double digit home runs. I don't like that thinking for him. He does better when he is spraying line drives, not trying to lift. Whether he's been trying to hit them out in these games, I have no idea, but he needs to just keep the same approach last year.
  18. Come on Shark, hold them to 4 for the next few innings, please?
  19. Adam "good guy" Eaton says he called time. Womp womp.
  20. I was really just hoping to see Micah bunt there. Move the runners over, potentially get a base hit, if not, Adam is a contact hitter who seems pretty clutch.
  21. 4 straight hits on about 6 pitches. lmao.
  22. I'm so excited to see where Adams goes after his insane pro debut last year. I don't expect a 17 K/BB ratio or whatever it was, but if he can continue a 5+ K/BB, I'll be very pleased.
  23. QUOTE (oldsox @ Apr 10, 2015 -> 11:10 AM) Okay, I'll bite. Who is Plawecki? He was the mets top catching prospect that me, and probably others, desperately wanted to get from NY in a package for Alexei. Obviously our off-season went in the opposite direction. Jakson Reetz will be the minor league catcher I follow and say "if only".
  24. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 01:54 PM) From my experience, packs aren't the most efficient use of stubs. Most of the packs I've opened have been 3 common and 3 bronze. I rarely get someone I can use out of a pack (my lineup is all 77+, my rotation is 80+, my pen is 76-79 because I don't spend on relievers on the marketplace). You can easily get a super-team given your current situation. 35k stubs will go a long way on the market place. You can get at least 3 more gold players, possibly more depending on who you buy. I'm merely pointing out that the vast majority of players aren't going to get 4 gold (at least from what you posted) and a Diamond in a limited pack sample. I'd guess that your 57 packs if you choose to buy them would max out somewhere around that unless you have a horseshoe up your ass. I'm not going to do it anyway, Tulo is amazing. Abreu is the only player I plan on buying.
