  1. QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 27, 2015 -> 05:46 AM) Can we just agree that it would be cheap and pointless to just have Jesse or Walt show up in the background for no reason. Doesn't fit the tone. Jesse would make sense down the road. Walt wouldn't make any sense unless the show ends with Walt meeting Saul.
  2. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Mar 26, 2015 -> 11:11 PM) The show is about 3 years ahead of breaking bad maybe more. Mikes granddaughter looks about 4 and is about 9 or 10 in Breaking Bad. The prequel is AHEAD of Breaking Bad? What does that mean? Breaking Bad started September 7th, 2009 - http://breakingbad.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline Jesse was born September 14th, 1984. So that puts Jesse at about 25 years old at the start of Breaking Bad. Better Call Saul starts May 13th, 2002 Jesse would be 17 years old, and likely about a couple weeks shy of finishing HS. So there you have it. Apparently he IS still in High School. Although I don't recall if Walt taught senior chemistry or not.
  3. Why the hell would the Dodgers want Kershaw to hit? f*** the reps, don't let him get hurt.
  4. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Mar 26, 2015 -> 12:21 PM) They do flashbacks a lot so it could happen Well that's true.
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 26, 2015 -> 10:09 AM) The Americans, in my opinion, has lost its fastball this year. Way too slow, I find myself falling asleep every episode. I'm a couple episodes behind, but them dragging out revealing their secret to Paige is KILLING me. It's all I hope for every episode, and it's yet to happen. Can't hint at that last season, and then take 12 episodes to finally get to that again. It will easily be the biggest moment of the show.
  6. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 26, 2015 -> 11:00 AM) No, it was on that legal document as well, because that's what they used to compare all the letters.
  7. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Mar 26, 2015 -> 10:37 AM) They should show Jesse in Walt's science class at some point. That'd be awesome. Jesse has graduated HS by now. When Breaking Bad starts, Jesse is 26. When BCS starts, Jesse is 20.
  8. Here is video of Rodon's 9 K's for all you kids to share on the Twitters and the Facebooks. WARNING: NSFW. http://m.mlb.com/cws/video/topic/26659992/...oyals/?c_id=cws
  9. After tonight's start, is Boras going to start whining about Rodon not starting the year with the Sox either? Him and Bryant are basically in the exact same situation, except the media only slurps one of them so far.
  10. All I could think of during that game.... Seriously. Rodon? Awesome. Beck? Awesome. Barnum? Awesome. Trey? Awesome. Shuck? Awesome. Avi? Awesome.
  11. QUOTE (kev211 @ Mar 24, 2015 -> 07:33 PM) Who hits more homers this year abreu or Bryant? That's really tough. Abreu would be the safer bet, because he's actually played a major league season, but I think Abreu may have hit his career high in HR last year. It think what we've seen this spring and in the 2nd half is more indicative of his future. Will still run in to about 30 HR a year, but I think he is more interested in hitting .300+ and getting on base. I'd go with Bryant, honestly.
  12. QUOTE (shipps @ Mar 24, 2015 -> 05:04 PM) LOL He is going to be one of the top hitters in the game this year. There is no question about it in my mind. Eh, I don't know. I think there is no doubt he'll hit a ton of bombs. But I could see him being more Mark Trumbo and less....Jose Abreu. Ok, maybe better than Trumbo's average, but I think he probably hits somewhere in the .260s, maybe .270s with 35 HR and 150+ Ks. Trumbo circa 2012 I guess. I don't see him being a 5+ WAR guy, at least not in his rookie year. We shall see I guess, but obviously he's still a huge threat to be the best rookie in baseball this year.
  13. Finished The Jinx today. Man, those guys got real lucky that Durst is such a weirdo and kept making that mistake with his mic. But how was checking the handwriting not like one of the first things done in the first place?
  14. QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 24, 2015 -> 05:42 PM) Seeing the previews for next weeks Saul, wondering if we'll see Gus. Maybe not next episode, but it would certainly make for a S1 finale type reveal.
  15. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 24, 2015 -> 02:19 PM) It was a fantasy game name. I think my friends and I made some code that transferred my real name into something like Qnarvy. Add some vowels, boom. I signed up on this board when I was like, 15, so it made sense. Or so the legend goes...
  16. Knowing your real name now, I'm confused by your username. I always assumed your name had "Quinn" in it somewhere.
  17. If only Wilkins was 2 years younger, and he could just slot in right after LaRoche. He's kind of in a hard place right now. He can't sit in Charlotte for 2 more full seasons.
  18. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Mar 24, 2015 -> 07:49 AM) I just saw the episode last night. I can't believe Sammi did that. I'm really curious how they're all going to respond to this. As for Cameron Monaghan on Gotham, is it even known how much he'll be in the show? If it will be significant I would not be surprised at all if he's sent away on Shameless or killed off. I don't think Shameless has more than 1 or two more seasons left anyways. I was legitimately angry and hope she takes a shovel to the teeth. Her and Karen are two of the most despicable characters I've ever hated on TV shows.
  19. Last Man on Earth is so good. I love it. I've started Battle Creek (new show by Vince Gilligan), and for a cop-procedural, it is pretty good so far. Dewey Crowe and Choo-Choo from Justified are in it so far, and in the first 2 episodes I've seen, Vince has managed to slip "making meth" in to each episode. In ep. 2, they've gone as far as to create a meth lab to make maple syrup, but it certainly looks like a Breaking Bad style cook.
  20. QUOTE (Señor Ding-Dong @ Mar 23, 2015 -> 11:27 AM) He's been really solid all-around. He's played well enough to earn the starting job in my opinion, it's just that Micah has been even better. Sanchez has never and still does not excite me in any way. I'm okay with him being a backup player, but it's not even close who I'd rather watch play.
  21. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 23, 2015 -> 10:55 AM) In the deadspin article they say that large chunks of seats are missing because they were sold to fans Sell them all.
  22. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 23, 2015 -> 07:21 AM) Always wondered what they did with old stadiums. I guess they just let them rot, as in the case of this and the Silverdome. It's a shame. I'm surprised they wouldn't sell the seats. Hell, sell each seat for $100, people would definitely buy them.
