I would bet Lozano is willing to accept the Sox offer today if there was some sort of deadline. I haven't heard anything to corroborate NotHahns' news about frustration, but maybe what I said above is why the Sox are frustrated? Because they feel like they have the best deal out there, but Lozano is willing to just sit on that offer until the Phillies decide they won't be getting Harper, and then have to offer up their "stupid money" to save face. No idea. That's all speculation on my part, as again, my source didn't have anything substantial to tell me.

2 things we can all be annoyed by from this ... One of the guys referring to Manny "coming back to reality" and signing with the Yankees because the White Sox won't be winners for 3 or 4 more years. Secondly, the Meredith lady said that the White Sox are the only team that can promise Manny a position at SS, because she thinks Jean Segura is apparently a better defensive SS than Tim Anderson, or likely just has no idea who Tim Anderson even is.

I mean, his responses weren't bad on their own, but he should KNOW by now that an entire army of his fans are going to go attack her, or anyone like her that he puts on display like that. He has been on Twitter long enough to know the time of power he, or any other athlete/celeb, hold when they start getting in public battles with fans.

I do believe he was the first and only one to mention Castillo to the Sox, at least in exact terms. And like JA said, it was a full week before Castillo signed. I'm sure you're right that this kid just throws shit at the wall, and he could very easily be jumping on the Machado to Sox bandwagon here, but at least he did seem to get one thing right when it came to the Sox before.

I hope he DOES go to the Phillies, or has already agreed to go to the Phillies. Should wipe them out the Machado sweepstakes, hopefully.

I can't find the article I saw on my phone earlier that explained these tweets, but here are the 2 tweets.... Weird that they would call out the idea of returning to Washington as a lie.... Then.... They made the link say "Phanatic" like the Philly Phanatic mascot, and when you click the link, it redirects to the following CBS Sports article saying that Harper and the Phillies are set to meet in Vegas on Saturday. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/phillies-free-agent-bryce-harper-schedule-face-to-face-meeting-in-las-vegas-on-saturday-report-says/ Could The Show be involved in some sort of reveal that he is going to the Phillies? Like they reveal the cover of the video game and that is how we all find out what team he picked? Seems weird that they would say "cancels Saturday plans" as if his meeting in Vegas has anything to do with anyone outside of that meeting.
