QUOTE (TitoMB @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 06:32 PM) Man, I can't find a feed at all. I guess Gameday'll have to do. Same here. The only 2 games I have not been able to find this year were both games on WCIU this week..... -

QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 09:45 AM) How are we on Inherited Runners Scored? Well, Randy has allowed at least 3 just during the Jays series (2 last night, and 1 he walked in for Peavy) -

QUOTE (The Baconator @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 08:38 AM) I've been forced to watch the Canadian feed streaming online this series (go America ), and I will say, even during Romero's gem, their analysts were still just talking about our bellpen. Game two of the series they spent 2 innings talking about Thornton, and how they were so impressed with him and hope to never face him again. That really says something about the respect our bullpen is getting when their own announcers are talking about our pitching while Romero is still on the mound throwing a no-hitter. Yes, but they were also mentioning Romero's K count about 15-20 times, even when their offense was up. -

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 11:56 AM) Failbot isn't offensive, though its not particularly funny. Injuns is, well, mildly offensive. Boooooo politically correct...booooooo!! -

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 11:37 AM) Uh oh. Someone else edited your thread title, other than me. I was 1-1 on the edits. Hopefully the JoeCoolMan-knightni combo can do better than .500! 2-1 you mean. And what's w/ the thread title edit? Injuns and Failbot aren't bad! -
Did the Sox score too many runs tonight?

QUOTE (Pants Rowland @ Apr 15, 2010 -> 09:24 PM) This thread rules. I have been busy all day and it was a major and pleasant surprise to come home and see we are now into our third page. More importantly, back on topic, anyone who made fun/doubted me, how many runs did the White Sox score tonight? Anyone? Anyone? Who's laughing now? For all the sabrmetricians and Bill James disciples here, some of you don't seem to understand a thing about trends or statistics. You predicted that this lineup that is hitting what, like .200, was not going to score a lot of runs tonight? Holy s***, you should buy some lottery tickets! -

How is it that THIS thread is still open, but the Andruw Jones thread got locked? -
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 15, 2010 -> 07:40 PM) I really believe Freddy is going to have to go Chien-Ming Wang on us over the course of 4-5 starts for him to be removed from the rotation. I think they want to keep Hudson in AAA as long as possible to enhance his trade value. Let's face it: we don't do prospects. At least not ones that we draft. Gordon Beckham is a rare exception. That's exactly what I was going to say. If we don't see Hudson up in this rotation by June, then it is pretty safe to say that Kenny is going to let him dominate AAA just to increase his trade value for maybe an A-Gon, or a Berkman, or some other lefty slugger.

Jones is raking right now, but he is still uppercutting his swings. I know he is hitting for avg too, but unless he straightens out his swing path, I think he will start K'ing at a high rate. I have already stated many times this offseason that I am a big Andruw Jones fan, and was stoked out of my mind when we signed him, but I am also trying to not get too optimistic about him. Needs to straighten that swing, methinks.
