At least we are not the Astros. They have only scored 6 runs ALL YEAR.

QUOTE (G&T @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 03:57 PM) watch this and see if you can figure it out: or maybe you should just look closer into those dino-legs in your pic. Hah, we both looked up the video at the same time I guess. -

I am confused as hell. Obviously it is not real, but I thought it was just CGI on TV, was this thing actually an animatronic beast? http://hphotos-sjc1.fbcdn.net/hs513.snc3/2...3_4283506_n.jpg If that was some remote controlled dinosaur, and not just TV special effects, then my mind is blown. That thing looked real as hell! EDIT: I just saw a video online, from this view, it definitely looks like someone is dressed up a costume, because I can see legs. But when I was watching it on comcast, it looked like a ridiculous animatronic thing. -

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 03:16 PM) Our best hitter right now is not Beckham. People need to get over the hype, the guy is good, but hes not a superstar yet and its very likely that he may experience some problems in his sophomore campaign. Teams are already shading him to RF and as pitchers get better scouting reports on him he is going to have to learn to adjust. He has a ton of raw natural talent as a hitter, but he still has a lot to learn about being a professional hitter. I didn't say he was our best hitter right now, but these first 5 games notwithstanding, Beckham is our best hitter. He hits for average, power, gaps, and can handle the bat better than anyone else on this team.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 02:57 PM) They wont fire Walker because last I checked hes not making millions to hit a ball 1 out of 3 times. Players who listen to Walker, seem to get better. Players who dont, seem to do the same s*** every year. The guy works hard and is well liked by management. I believe he actually offered to step down but they wouldnt let him. The guy is a class act and honestly no hitting coach is going to change this team. ? Our best hitter is Beckham, who had no help from Walker in his career.

QUOTE (Real @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 12:28 PM) Hopefully Sox fans will be smarter about it than just hating on Kotsay He is who he is, it's Ozzie who puts him in the lineup and Kenny for not giving Ozzie a better alternative Kenny did give Ozzie a chance at a better alternative, and he wears #25 for Minnesota.

I looked at the standings, and was happy to see Boston is also 1-3. Sure, they played the Yankees, but they also lost to the Royals.

Don't forget Santos. He has looked studly.

Your 2010 White Sox. On pace to lead in 162 games, and only win 40 of them. -

QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 10:51 PM) If only Rios succeeded at stealing that base... looked like a botched hit and run. Rios is not that bad of a basestealer. -

QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 10:38 PM) Good lord Alexei...how do you dive OVER the ball... Wouldn't have had Hardy anyway. Ump can go suck on a shotgun though.
