Questionable checked swing call changed that at-bat for Colson.

I don't know what the premium would be for controllable pitching at the deadline vs the offseason. If they can get Detmers and not give up Bonemer or Carlson then sure. Are there any other rumors out there on controllable #1-#3 starters? Otherwise I think a solid rental or two pulling from the 11-30 range in their top prospects is fine, then see in the offseason what is available pitching wise (assuming there's even a season).

Yeah I wouldn't mind trying him in AAA for a minute and see if they can fix something. He's been around for long enough and had enough success though that any tweaks he could make would probably have happened already. He's either injured and trying to fight through it or he's just done.

Starter needs to go more than 3.1 innings.

Why in the f*** did they wave him

That was right down the middle.

A starter and a catcher and this team is in pretty good shape.

Hey a good appearance for Dominguez.

Bad hop there.

Minimum 15 runs to only feel slightly nervous

People were right about the ball flying today. Also I think Mune got his timing back.

Astros just got PEREZ'D

Royals held on

Casual 5 RBI game for Murakami

WHEW.

We just love hitting them

MLB Trade RumorsBrewers Designate Lance McCullers Jr. For AssignmentMcCullers was acquired from the Astros in a trade on July 15. MLBTR breaks down his recent performance and potential future. He has been atrocious this year and his Baseball Savant page backs that up, but he does have an xERA of 4.57 and can still strike people out. Worth a shot as a long man maybe?

Yesterday was pretty bad. Should not have lost that game like that. Tonight they just got shut down by a great performance and probably should've only given up 2 or 3 runs total, not 4.

A catcher who is at least alright is probably the most impactful move they can make.

Nice at bat by Peters

They don't look like they have a shot today, and it's not only because they have a couple guys in a funk. Brown is shoving.

Dude what are these guys doing in this series

Burke is turning into a hell of a pitcher. Let’s score some damn runs now!

This game sucked. Oh well get em tomorrow
